Salmos 70

1 Para o músico chefe. Por David. Um lembrete. Hurry, Deus, para me entregar. Venha rapidamente para me ajudar, Yahweh.

God, please save me! Yahweh, come quickly to help me!

2 Let eles se decepcionam e confundem quem procura minha alma. Que aqueles que desejam a minha ruína voltem para trás em desgraça.

Humble those who are happy about my troubles/difficulties, and cause them to be disgraced/ashamed. Chase away those who are trying to kill me.

3 Deixe-os ser virados por causa de sua vergonha que dizem: “Aha! Aha!”

I hope/desire that you will cause them to become dismayed and ashamed [because you have defeated them].

4 Let todos aqueles que o procuram se regozijam e se alegram em você. Que aqueles que amam sua salvação digam continuamente, “Que Deus seja exaltado!”

[But] I hope/desire that all those who go to [worship] you will be very joyful [DOU]. I want those who love you because you saved them to shout repeatedly [HYP], “God is great!”

5 Mas eu sou pobre e carente. Venha até mim rapidamente, Deus. Você é minha ajuda e meu entregador. Yahweh, não demore.

As for me, I am poor and needy [DOU]; [so] God, come quickly to help me! Yahweh, you are the one who saves and helps me, [so please] come quickly!
