Salmos 7
1 Uma meditação de David, que ele cantou para Javé, a respeito das palavras de Cush, o benjamita. Yahweh, meu Deus, eu me refugio em você. Salvem-me de todos aqueles que me perseguem, e me entreguem,
Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning Cush a Benjamite. O LORD my God, in Thee have I taken refuge; save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me;
2 lest eles destroem minha alma como um leão, rasgando-o em pedaços, enquanto não há ninguém para entregar.
Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 Yahweh, meu Deus, se eu tiver feito isso, se há iniqüidade em minhas mãos,
O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4 se eu recompensei o mal para aquele que estava em paz comigo (sim, eu entreguei aquele que sem causa era meu adversário),
If I have requited him that did evil unto me, or spoiled mine adversary unto emptiness;
5 let o inimigo persegue minha alma, e a ultrapassa; sim, deixe-o pisar minha vida até a terra, e colocar minha glória na poeira. (Selah)
Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, and tread my life down to the earth; yea, let him lay my glory in the dust. (Selah)
6 Arise, Yahweh, em sua raiva. Levante-se contra a fúria de meus adversários. Despertai para mim. Você comandou o julgamento.
Arise, O LORD, in Thine anger, lift up Thyself in indignation against mine adversaries; yea, awake for me at the judgment which Thou hast commanded.
7 Let a congregação dos povos que o rodeiam. Governa sobre eles nas alturas.
And let the congregation of the peoples compass Thee about, and over them return Thou on high.
8 Yahweh administra o julgamento para os povos. Julga-me, Yahweh, de acordo com minha justiça, e à minha integridade que está em mim.
O LORD, who ministerest judgment to the peoples, judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9 Oh deixe que a maldade dos ímpios chegue ao fim, mas estabelecer os justos; suas mentes e corações são procurados pelo Deus justo.
Oh that a full measure of evil might come upon the wicked, and that Thou wouldest establish the righteous; for the righteous God trieth the heart and reins.
10 Meu escudo está com Deus, que salva os retos no coração.
My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
11 Deus é um juiz justo, sim, um Deus que tem indignação todos os dias.
God is a righteous judge, yea, a God that hath indignation every day:
12 If um homem não se arrepende, ele afiará sua espada; ele dobrou e amarrou seu arco.
If a man turn not, He will whet His sword, He hath bent His bow, and made it ready;
13 Ele também preparou para si mesmo os instrumentos da morte. Ele prepara suas setas flamejantes.
He hath also prepared for him the weapons of death, yea, His arrows which He made sharp.
14 Behold, ele trabalha com iniqüidade. Sim, ele concebeu a maldade, e trouxe à tona a falsidade.
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; yea, he conceiveth mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
15 Ele cavou um buraco, e caiu no poço que ele fez.
He hath digged a pit, and hollowed it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 Os problemas que ele causa devem voltar à sua própria cabeça. Sua violência deve descer sobre a coroa de sua própria cabeça.
His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
17 Agradeço a Javé de acordo com sua retidão, e cantará louvores ao nome de Yahweh Most High.
I will give thanks unto the LORD according to His righteousness; and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
