1 Para o músico chefe. Uma canção. Um salmo. Make um grito de alegria a Deus, a toda a terra!
Make a joyful noise to God, all you lands:
2 Cantem para a glória de seu nome! Oferecer glória e louvor!
Sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious.
3 Diga a Deus: “Como são fantásticos seus atos! Através da grandeza de seu poder, seus inimigos se submetem a você.
Say to God, How terrible are you in your works! through the greatness of your power shall your enemies submit themselves to you.
4 Toda a terra o adorará, e cantará para você; eles cantarão em seu nome”. (Selah)
All the earth shall worship you, and shall sing to you; they shall sing to your name. (Selah)
5 Come, e veja as escrituras de Deus. trabalho fantástico em prol dos filhos dos homens.
Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

He rules by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)

O bless our God, you people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
9 que preserva nossa vida entre os vivos, e não permite que nossos pés sejam movimentados.
Which holds our soul in life, and suffers not our feet to be moved.
10 Para você, Deus, nos testou. Você nos refinou, como a prata é refinada.
For you, O God, have proved us: you have tried us, as silver is tried.
11 Você nos trouxe para a prisão. Você colocou um fardo sobre nossas costas.
You brought us into the net; you laid affliction on our loins.
12 Você permitiu que os homens passassem por cima de nossas cabeças. Passamos pelo fogo e pela água, mas você nos trouxe para o lugar da abundância.
You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but you brought us out into a wealthy place.
13 Eu entrarei em seu templo com ofertas queimadas. Eu lhe pagarei meus votos,
I will go into your house with burnt offerings: I will pay you my vows,
14 que meus lábios prometeram, e minha boca falava, quando eu estava em apuros.
Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth has spoken, when I was in trouble.
15 I oferecerá a você ofertas queimadas de animais gordos, com a oferta de carneiros, Vou oferecer touros com cabras. (Selah)
I will offer to you burnt sacrifices of fatted calves, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
16 Come e ouçam, todos vocês que temem a Deus. Vou declarar o que ele fez por minha alma.
Come and hear, all you that fear God, and I will declare what he has done for my soul.
17 Eu chorei para ele com minha boca. Ele foi exaltado com a minha língua.
I cried to him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 Se eu estimava o pecado em meu coração, o Senhor não teria escutado.
If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19 Mas com certeza, Deus ouviu. Ele ouviu a voz da minha oração.
But truly God has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Bendito seja Deus, que não me rejeitou a oração, nem sua amorosa gentileza da minha parte.
Blessed be God, which has not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
