Salmos 64
1 Para o músico chefe. Um Salmo de David. Hear minha voz, Deus, em minha queixa. Preservar minha vida do medo do inimigo.
To the chief Musician, a Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me da conspiração dos ímpios, da multidão barulhenta dos que fazem o mal;
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 who afiar a língua como uma espada, e apontar suas flechas, palavras mortíferas,
Who whet their tongue like a sword, [and] bend [their bows to shoot] their arrows, [even] bitter words:
4 para atirar em homens inocentes de emboscadas. Eles atiram nele de repente e sem medo.
That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 Eles se encorajam em planos maléficos. Eles falam sobre a colocação de laços em segredo. Eles dizem: “Quem os verá?”
They encourage themselves [in] an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who will see them?
6 Eles tramam a injustiça, dizendo: “Fizemos um plano perfeito”! Certamente a mente e o coração do homem são astuciosos.
They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward [thought] of every one [of them], and the heart, [is] deep.
7 Mas Deus vai atirar neles. Eles serão repentinamente atingidos por uma flecha.
But God shall shoot at them [with] an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 Suas próprias línguas devem arruiná-los. Todos os que os vêem abanarão a cabeça.
So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
9 Toda a humanidade deve ter medo. Eles devem declarar a obra de Deus, e ponderará sabiamente o que ele fez.
And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
10 Os justos ficarão felizes em Yahweh, e se refugiará nele. Todos os retos de coração o louvarão!
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
