Salmos 47

1 Para o músico chefe. Um salmo pelos filhos de Corá. Oh batam palmas, todos vocês nações. Grite a Deus com a voz do triunfo!

For the leader. Of the Korahites. A psalm. Clap your hands, all you peoples: shout to God in ringing cries.

2 Para Yahweh Most High é fantástico. Ele é um grande rei sobre toda a terra.

For the Lord is most high and dread, a great king over all the earth.

3 Ele submete as nações sob nosso comando, e as pessoas sob nossos pés.

He subdues the peoples under us, the nations under our feet;

4 Ele escolhe nossa herança para nós, a glória de Jacob, a quem ele amava. (Selah)

he chooses our heritage for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loves. (Selah)

5 God foi para cima com um grito, Yahweh com o som de uma trombeta.

God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Sing elogia a Deus! Cante louvores! Cantemos louvores ao nosso Rei! Cantem louvores!

Sing praise to our God, sing praises: sing praise to our king, sing praises.

7 Pois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra. Cante louvores com compreensão.

For king of all earth is he: praise God in a skilful song.

8 Deus reina sobre as nações. Deus se senta em seu trono sagrado.

God is king over all the nations, God sits on his holy throne.

9 Os príncipes dos povos estão reunidos, o povo do Deus de Abraão. Pois os escudos da terra pertencem a Deus. Ele é muito exaltado!

Princes of nations gather with the people of Abraham’s God: for the shields of the earth are God’s; greatly exalted is he.
