Salmos 41
1 Para o músico chefe. Um Salmo de David. Blessed é aquele que considera os pobres. Yahweh irá entregá-lo no dia do mal.
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. Blessed is he that iudgeth wisely of the poore: the Lord shall deliuer him in ye time of trouble.
2 Yahweh irá preservá-lo, e mantê-lo vivo. Ele será abençoado na terra, e ele não o entregará à vontade de seus inimigos.
The Lord will keepe him, and preserue him aliue: he shalbe blessed vpon the earth, and thou wilt not deliuer him vnto the will of his enemies.
3 Yahweh o sustentará em seu leito doente, e restaurá-lo de seu leito de doença.
The Lord wil strengthen him vpon ye bed of sorow: thou hast turned al his bed in his sicknes.
4 Eu disse: “Yahweh, tenha piedade de mim! Curai-me, pois pequei contra vós”.
Therefore I saide, Lord haue mercie vpon me: heale my soule, for I haue sinned against thee.
5 Meus inimigos falam mal contra mim: “Quando ele vai morrer, e seu nome perecerá?”
Mine enemies speake euill of me, saying, When shall he die, and his name perish?
6 If ele vem me ver, ele fala falsidade. Seu coração reúne a iniqüidade para si mesmo. Quando ele vai para o exterior, ele o conta.
And if hee come to see mee, hee speaketh lies, but his heart heapeth iniquitie within him, and when he commeth foorth, he telleth it.
7 All que me odeiam sussurram juntos contra mim. Eles imaginam o pior para mim.
All they that hate me, whisper together against me: euen against me do they imagine mine hurt.
8 “Uma doença maligna”, dizem eles, “o afligiu”. Agora que ele mente, ele não se levantará mais”.
A mischiefe is light vpon him, and he that lyeth, shall no more rise.
9 Yes, meu próprio amigo familiar, em quem confio, que comeu pão comigo, levantou seu calcanhar contra mim.
Yea, my familiar friend, whom I trusted, which did eate of my bread, hath lifted vp the heele against me.
10 Mas você, Yahweh, tenha piedade de mim e me levante, que eu possa reembolsá-los.
Therefore, O Lord, haue mercy vpon mee, and raise me vp: so I shall reward them.
11 Por isso sei que você se deleita comigo, porque meu inimigo não triunfa sobre mim.
By this I know that thou fauourest me, because mine enemie doth not triumph against me.
12 Quanto a mim, vocês me sustentam em minha integridade, e me colocar em sua presença para sempre.
And as for me, thou vpholdest me in mine integritie, and doest set me before thy face for euer.
13 Blessed seja Yahweh, o Deus de Israel, da eternidade e para a eternidade! Amém e amém.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel worlde without ende. So be it, euen so be it.
