Salmos 35
1 Por David. Contend, Yahweh, com aqueles que lutam comigo. Lutar contra aqueles que lutam contra mim.
[A Psalm] of David. Plead [my cause], O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
2 Pegue o escudo e o buckler, e defender a minha ajuda.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.
3 Brandish a lança e bloquear aqueles que me perseguem. Diga a minha alma: “Eu sou a sua salvação”.
Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I [am] thy salvation.
4 Que aqueles que buscam minha alma se decepcionem e sejam levados à desonra. Que aqueles que conspiram para minha ruína voltem atrás e fiquem confundidos.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
5 Deixe-os ser como palha antes do vento, O anjo de Yahweh os conduz.
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase [them].
6 Que o caminho deles seja escuro e escorregadio, O anjo de Yahweh os persegue.
Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
7 Pois sem causa eles esconderam sua rede em um poço para mim. Sem causa eles cavaram um poço para minha alma.
For without cause they have hid for me their net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my soul.
8 Deixe a destruição vir sobre ele de surpresa. Deixe que sua rede que ele mesmo escondeu se pegue. Deixe-o cair nessa destruição.
Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
9 Minha alma estará alegre em Yahweh. Ele se regozijará com sua salvação.
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
10 Todos os meus ossos dirão: “Yahweh, que é como você, que livra os pobres dele que é forte demais para ele; sim, os pobres e os necessitados daquele que o rouba”...
All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, even the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
11 Unrighteous testemunhas se levantam. Eles me perguntam sobre coisas que eu não sei.
False witnesses arose; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.
12 Eles me recompensam o mal pelo bem, para o luto da minha alma.
They rewarded me evil for good [to] the spoiling of my soul.
13 Mas quanto a mim, quando eles estavam doentes, minha roupa era de saco. Eu afligi minha alma com o jejum. Minha oração voltou para o meu próprio seio.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.
14 Eu me comportei como se tivesse sido meu amigo ou meu irmão. Eu me curvo de luto, como quem chora sua mãe.
I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.
15 Mas, na minha adversidade, eles se regozijaram e se reuniram. Os atacantes se reuniram contra mim, e eu não sabia disso. Eles se rasgaram em mim e não pararam.
But in my adversity they rejoiced, and assembled themselves: [yes], the abjects assembled themselves against me, and I knew [it] not; they did tear [me], and ceased not:
16 Como os zombadores profanos em festas, eles rangeram os dentes para mim.
With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
17 Senhor, por quanto tempo você vai ficar de olho? Resgatar minha alma de sua destruição, minha preciosa vida dos leões.
LORD, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
18 Agradeço-lhes na grande assembléia. Eu o louvarei entre muitas pessoas.
I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among many people.
19 Não deixe que aqueles que são meus inimigos se regozijem injustamente por mim; nem deixar piscar os olhos àqueles que me odeiam sem uma causa.
Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
20 Pois eles não falam de paz, mas eles inventam palavras enganosas contra aqueles que estão quietos na terra.
For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against [them that are] quiet in the land.
21 Sim, eles abriram bem sua boca contra mim. Eles disseram: “Aha! Aha! Nosso olho já viu”!
Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, [and] said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen [it].
22 Você já viu, Yahweh. Não fique calado. Senhor, não esteja longe de mim.
[This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O LORD, be not far from me.
23 Acorde! Levantem-se para me defender, meu Deus! Meu Senhor, contenda por mim!
Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, [even] to my cause, my God and my LORD.
24 Vindicar-me, Yahweh meu Deus, de acordo com sua justiça. Não os deixe se vangloriarem de mim.
Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
25 Não os deixe dizer em seu coração: “Aha! É assim que queremos”! Não os deixe dizer: “Nós o engolimos”!
Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
26 Que fiquem decepcionados e confundidos juntos que se regozijam com minha calamidade. Que eles se vistam de vergonha e desonra que se engrandeçam contra mim.
Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify [themselves] against me.
27 Que aqueles que favorecem minha causa justa gritem de alegria e se alegrem. Sim, deixe-os dizer continuamente: “Que Yahweh seja ampliado”, que tem prazer na prosperidade de seu servo”!
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
28 Minha língua falará de sua justiça e de seus louvores o dia todo.
And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
