Salmos 32
1 Por David. Um salmo contemplativo. Abençoado é aquele cuja desobediência é perdoada, cujo pecado está coberto.
[A Psalm] of David, Maschil. Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered.
2 Abençoado é o homem a quem Javé não imputa iniqüidade, em cujo espírito não há engano.
Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.
3 Quando eu mantive o silêncio, meus ossos desperdiçaram meus gemidos durante todo o dia.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 Para o dia e para a noite sua mão era pesada para mim. Minhas forças foram esvaziadas no calor do verão. (Selah)
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. (Selah)
5 Eu reconheci meu pecado a você. Eu não escondi minha iniqüidade. Eu disse que confessarei minhas transgressões a Javé, e você perdoou a iniqüidade do meu pecado. (Selah)
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 Para isso, deixe que todos que são piedosos rezem para você em um momento em que você possa ser encontrado. Certamente, quando as grandes águas transbordarem, elas não chegarão até ele.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 Você é meu esconderijo. Você me preservará de problemas. Você vai me rodear de canções de entrega. (Selah)
Thou [art] my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Selah)
8 Eu o instruirei e lhe ensinarei o caminho que você deve seguir. Eu o aconselharei com meu olho em você.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 Não seja como o cavalo, ou como a mula, que não tem nenhum entendimento, que são controlados por bit e bridle, caso contrário, não se aproximarão de você.
Be ye not as the horse, [or] as the mule, [which] have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Muitas tristezas chegam aos ímpios, mas bondade amorosa cercará aquele que confia em Yahweh.
Many sorrows [shall be] to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Alegre-se em Yahweh, e regozije-se, seu justo! Gritai de alegria, todos vocês que estão de coração erguido!
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all [ye that are] upright in heart.
