Salmos 29

1 Um salmo de David. Atribuam a Yahweh, filhos dos poderosos, atribuem a Yahweh glória e força.

A Psalme of David. Give vnto the Lord, ye sonnes of the mightie: giue vnto the Lord glorie and strength.

2 Atribuir a Yahweh a glória devido a seu nome. Adorar Yahweh em santa disposição.

Giue vnto the Lord glorie due vnto his Name: worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.

3 A voz de Yahweh está sobre as águas. O Deus da glória troveja, até mesmo Yahweh em muitas águas.

The voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters.

4 A voz de Yahweh é poderosa. A voz de Yahweh está cheia de majestade.

The voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious.

5 A voz de Yahweh quebra os cedros. Sim, Yahweh quebra em pedaços os cedros do Líbano.

The voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 Ele também os faz pular como um bezerro; Líbano e Sirion como um boi jovem e selvagem.

He maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne.

7 A voz de Yahweh bate com flashes de relâmpagos.

The voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire.

8 A voz de Yahweh abala o sertão. Yahweh abala o deserto de Kadesh.

The voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble.

9 A voz de Yahweh faz o veado parir, e despoja as florestas. Em seu templo tudo diz: “Glória!”

The voice of the Lord maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forests: therefore in his Temple doth euery man speake of his glory.

10 Yahweh sentou-se entronizado no Dilúvio. Sim, Yahweh senta-se como Rei para sempre.

The Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.

11 Yahweh dará força ao seu povo. Yahweh abençoará seu povo com paz.

The Lord shall giue strength vnto his people: the Lord shall blesse his people with peace.
