Salmos 28
1 Por David. Para você, Yahweh, eu ligo. Meu rochedo, não seja surdo para mim, para que, se você não me disser nada, Eu me tornaria como aqueles que descem para o fosso.
A Psalme of David. Unto thee, O Lord, doe I crie: O my strength, be not deafe toward mee, lest, if thou answere me not, I be like them that goe downe into the pit.
2 Ouça a voz de minhas petições, quando eu choro para você, quando levanto minhas mãos em direção ao seu Santíssimo Lugar.
Heare the voyce of my petitions, when I crie vnto thee, when I holde vp mine handes towarde thine holy Oracle.
3 Não me afaste com os ímpios, com os trabalhadores da iniqüidade que falam de paz com seus vizinhos, mas a maldade está em seus corações.
Drawe mee not away with the wicked, and with the woorkers of iniquitie: which speake friendly to their neighbours, when malice is in their hearts.
4 Dê-lhes de acordo com seu trabalho, e de acordo com a maldade de suas ações. Dê a eles de acordo com o funcionamento de suas mãos. Traga para eles o que eles merecem.
Reward them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their inuentions: recompense them after the woorke of their handes: render them their reward.
5 Porque eles não respeitam as obras de Javé, nem o funcionamento de suas mãos, ele as quebrará e não as construirá.
For they regarde not the woorkes of the Lord, nor the operation of his handes: therefore breake them downe, and builde them not vp.
6 Bendito seja Yahweh, porque ele ouviu a voz das minhas petições.
Praised be the Lord, for he hath heard the voyce of my petitions.
7 Yahweh é minha força e meu escudo. Meu coração confiou nele, e eu sou ajudado. Portanto, meu coração se regozija muito. Com minha canção eu lhe agradecerei.
The Lord is my strength and my shielde: mine heart trusted in him, and I was helped: therfore mine heart shall reioyce, and with my song will I praise him.
8 Yahweh é sua força. Ele é um refúgio de salvação para seu ungido.
The Lord is their strength, and he is the strength of the deliuerances of his anointed.
9 Salve seu pessoal, e abençoe sua herança. Seja também seu pastor, e suportá-los para sempre.
Saue thy people, and blesse thine inheritance: feede them also, and exalt them for euer.
