Salmos 26

1 Por David. Julga-me, Yahweh, pois eu caminhei na minha integridade. Confiei também em Yahweh sem vacilar.

“Of David.” Judge me, O Lord; for I have indeed walked in my integrity: and in the Lord have I trusted; I shall not slip.

2 Examina-me, Yahweh, e prova-me. Experimente meu coração e minha mente.

Try me, O Lord, and prove me; purify my reins and my heart.

3 Pois sua bondade amorosa está diante dos meus olhos. Eu caminhei em sua verdade.

For thy kindness is before my eyes; and I have walked in thy truth.

4 Eu não me sentei com homens enganosos, nem eu entrarei com hipócritas.

I have not sat with men of falsehood, and with dissemblers will I not enter [in communion].

5 Eu odeio a assembléia de malfeitores, e não se sentará com os ímpios.

I have hated the assemblage of evil-doers; and with the wicked will I not sit.

6 Lavarei minhas mãos em inocência, por isso, irei sobre seu altar, Yahweh,

I will wash in innocency my hands, and I will compass thy altar, O Lord:

7 para que eu possa fazer ouvir a voz da ação de graças e contar todos os seus feitos maravilhosos.

That I may publish with a loud voice [my] thanksgiving, and relate all thy wondrous deeds.

8 Yahweh, eu amo a habitação de sua casa, o lugar onde habita sua glória.

Lord, I love the site of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

9 Não reúna minha alma com pecadores, nem minha vida com homens sedentos de sangue

Take not away with sinners my soul, nor with men of blood my life;

10 em cujas mãos está a perversidade; sua mão direita está cheia de subornos.

In whose hands are wicked devices, and whose right hand is full of bribes.

11 Mas, quanto a mim, caminharei na minha integridade. Redima-me, e tenha misericórdia de mim.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

12 Meu pé está em um lugar uniforme. Nas congregações, abençoarei Javé.

My foot standeth on an even place: in assemblies will I bless the Lord.
