Salmos 19
1 Para o músico chefe. Um Salmo de David. Os céus declaram a glória de Deus. A extensão mostra seu trabalho manual.
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The heauens declare the glory of God, and the firmament sheweth ye worke of his hands.
2 Day depois de um dia, eles derramam o discurso, e noite após noite eles demonstram conhecimento.
Day vnto day vttereth the same, and night vnto night teacheth knowledge.
3 There não é discurso nem linguagem onde sua voz não é ouvida.
There is no speach nor language, where their voyce is not heard.
4 A voz deles tem saído por toda a terra, suas palavras até o fim do mundo. Neles ele montou uma tenda para o sol,
Their line is gone forth through all the earth, and their words into the endes of the world: in them hath he set a tabernacle for the sunne.
5 which é como um noivo saindo de seu quarto, como um homem forte que se regozija ao dirigir seu curso.
Which commeth forth as a bridegrome out of his chamber, and reioyceth like a mightie man to runne his race.
6 Sua saída é do fim dos céus, seu circuito até suas extremidades. Não há nada escondido de seu calor. A lei
His going out is from the ende of the heauen, and his compasse is vnto the endes of ye same, and none is hid from the heate thereof.
7 Yahweh é perfeita, restaurando a alma. O pacto de Yahweh é certo, tornando sábio o simples.
The Lawe of the Lord is perfite, conuerting the soule: the testimonie of the Lord is sure, and giueth wisedome vnto the simple.
8 Os preceitos de Yahweh estão certos, regozijando o coração. O mandamento de Yahweh é puro, iluminando os olhos.
The statutes of the Lord are right and reioyce the heart: the commandement of the Lord is pure, and giueth light vnto the eyes.
9 O medo de Yahweh é limpo, duradouro para sempre. As ordenanças de Yahweh são verdadeiras e justas no seu conjunto.
The feare of the Lord is cleane, and indureth for euer: the iudgements of the Lord are trueth: they are righteous altogether,
10 Eles são mais desejáveis do que ouro, sim, do que muito ouro fino, mais doce também do que o mel e o extrato do favo de mel.
And more to be desired then golde, yea, then much fine golde: sweeter also then honie and the honie combe.
11 Moreover seu servo é avisado por eles. Ao mantê-los, há uma grande recompensa.
Moreouer by them is thy seruant made circumspect, and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Quem pode discernir seus erros? Perdoe-me por erros ocultos.
Who can vnderstand his faultes? clense me from secret fautes.
13 Keep de volta seu servo também de pecados presunçosos. Que eles não tenham domínio sobre mim. Então eu estarei de pé. Serei irrepreensível e inocente de grandes transgressões.
Keepe thy seruant also from presumptuous sinnes: let them not reigne ouer me: so shall I be vpright, and made cleane from much wickednes.
14 Deixe as palavras da minha boca e a meditação do meu coração ser aceitável na sua visão, Yahweh, minha rocha, e meu redentor.
Let the wordes of my mouth, and the meditation of mine heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
