Salmos 149

1 Louvado seja Yahweh! Cante para Yahweh uma nova canção, seu louvor na assembléia dos santos.

Hallelujah. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and His praise in the assembly of the saints.

2 Que Israel se regozije com quem os fez. Que as crianças de Sião sejam alegres em seu Rei.

Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let eles elogiam seu nome na dança! Que lhe cantem louvores com pandeiro e harpa!

Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.

4 Pois Yahweh tem prazer em seu povo. Ele coroa os humildes com a salvação.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in His people; He adorneth the humble with salvation.

5 Let os santos se regozijam em honra. Deixe-os cantar de alegria em suas camas.

Let the saints exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their beds.

6 May os altos elogios de Deus estejam em suas bocas, e uma espada de dois gumes na mão,

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7 para executar a vingança sobre as nações, e punições sobre os povos;

To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisements upon the peoples;

8 para amarrar seus reis com correntes, e seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 para executar neles o julgamento por escrito. Todos os seus santos têm esta honra. Louvado seja Yah!

To execute upon them the judgment written; He is the glory of all His saints. Hallelujah.
