1 Louvado seja Yah! Louvado seja Yahweh dos céus! Elogie-o nas alturas!
Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens: Praise him in the heights.
2 Louvado seja ele, todos os seus anjos! Louvado seja ele, todo o seu exército!
Praise ye him, all his angels: Praise ye him, all his host.
3 Elogie-o, sol e lua! Louvado seja ele, todos vocês estrelas brilhantes!
Praise ye him, sun and moon: Praise him, all ye stars of light.
4 Elogiem-no, céus dos céus, águas que estão acima dos céus.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, And ye waters that are above the heavens.
5 Let eles elogiam o nome de Yahweh, pois ele comandou, e eles foram criados.
Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For he commanded, and they were created.
6 Ele também os estabeleceu para todo o sempre. Ele fez um decreto que não vai passar.
He hath also established them for ever and ever: He hath made a decree which shall not pass away.
7 Elogie Yahweh da terra, vocês, grandes criaturas marinhas, e todas as profundezas,
Praise Jehovah from the earth, Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;
8 lightning e granizo, neve e nuvens, vento tempestuoso, cumprindo sua palavra,
Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;
9 montanhas e todas as colinas, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros,
Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;
10 wild animais e todo o gado, pequenas criaturas e aves voadoras,
Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying birds;
11 reis da terra e todos os povos, príncipes e todos os juízes da terra,
Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth;
12 tanto jovens como donzelas, homens idosos e crianças.
Both young men and virgins; Old men and children:
13 Let eles elogiam o nome de Yahweh, pois só o seu nome é exaltado. Sua glória está acima da terra e dos céus.
Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.
14 Ele levantou a buzina de seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, mesmo dos filhos de Israel, um povo próximo a ele. Louvado seja Yah!
And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, The praise of all his saints; Even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye Jehovah.
