Salmos 132
1 Um Canto de Ascensões. Yahweh, lembre-se de David e de toda sua aflição,
A Song of Degrees. Lord, remember David, and all his meekness:
2 como ele jurou a Javé, e fez um voto ao Poderoso de Jacob:
how he sware to the Lord, [and] vowed to the God of Jacob, [saying],
3 “Certamente eu não entrarei na estrutura de minha casa, nem subir na minha cama;
I will not go into the tabernacle of my house; I will not go up to the couch of my bed;
4 Não vou dar sono a meus olhos, ou dormir até minhas pálpebras,
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor slumber to mine eyelids, nor rest to my temples,
5 até encontrar um lugar para Yahweh, uma moradia para o Poderoso de Jacob”.
until I find a place for the Lord, a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
6 Veja, ouvimos falar disso em Ephrathah. Encontramo-lo no campo de Jaar.
Behold, we heard of it in Ephratha; we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 “Entraremos em sua morada. Nós adoraremos a seus pés”.
Let us enter into his tabernacles: let us worship at the place where his feet stood.
8 Levante-se, Yahweh, em seu lugar de descanso, você, e a arca de suas forças.
Arise, O Lord, into your rest; you, and the ark of your holiness.
9 Let seus padres sejam vestidos com retidão. Deixem seus santos gritar de alegria!
Your priests shall clothe themselves with righteousness; and your saints shall exult.
10 Para o bem de seu servo David, não vire o rosto de seu ungido.
For the sake of your servant David turn not away the face of your anointed.
11 Yahweh jurou a David em verdade. Ele não se virará a partir disso: “Colocarei o fruto de seu corpo em seu trono”.
The Lord sware [in] truth to David, and he will not annul it, [saying], Of the fruit of your body will I set [a king] upon your throne.
12 Se seus filhos mantiverem meu pacto, meu testemunho que lhes ensinarei, seus filhos também se sentarão em seu trono para sempre mais”.
If your children will deep my covenant, and these my testimonies which I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon your throne for ever.
13 Para Yahweh escolheu Zion. Ele o desejou para sua moradia.
For the Lord has elected Sion, he has chosen her for a habitation for himself, [saying],
14 “Este é meu lugar de descanso para sempre. Vou viver aqui, pois o desejei.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have chosen it.
15 Abençoarei abundantemente sua provisão. Vou satisfazer seus pobres com pão.
I will surely bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 I também vestirá seus padres com a salvação. Seus santos gritarão em voz alta de alegria.
I will clothe her priests with salvation; and her saints shall greatly exult.
17 Vou fazer o chifre de David brotar ali. Ordenei uma lâmpada para meu ungido.
There will I cause to spring up a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for mine anointed.
18 Vestirei seus inimigos de vergonha, mas sobre si mesmo, sua coroa vai brilhar”.
His enemies will I clothe with a shame; but upon himself shall my holiness flourish.
