Salmos 128

1 Um Canto de Ascensões. Abençoados são todos aqueles que temem a Iavé, que caminha em seus caminhos.

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” Happy is he who feareth the LORD, Who walketh in his ways!

2 Pois você vai comer o trabalho de suas mãos. Você ficará feliz, e estará bem com você.

Thou shalt eat the labor of thy hands; Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee!

3 Sua esposa será como uma videira frutífera nas partes mais internas de sua casa, seus filhos gostam de brotos de azeitonas ao redor de sua mesa.

Thy wife shall be like a fruitful vine within thy house; Thy children like olive-branches round about thy table.

4 Eis como é abençoado o homem que teme a Iavé.

Behold! thus happy is the man who feareth the LORD!

5 Que Yahweh o abençoe fora de Zion, e que você possa ver o bem de Jerusalém durante todos os dias de sua vida.

Jehovah shall bless thee out of Zion, And thou shalt see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of thy life;

6 Sim, que você possa ver os filhos de seus filhos. Que a paz esteja com Israel.

Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children. Peace be to Israel!
