Salmos 125

1 Um Canto de Ascensões. Those que confiam em Yahweh são como o Monte Zion, que não pode ser movida, mas permanece para sempre.

A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD, [shall be] as mount Zion, [which] cannot be removed, [but] abideth for ever.

2 Enquanto as montanhas cercam Jerusalém, Assim, Yahweh rodeia seu povo deste tempo em diante e para sempre mais.

[As] the mountains [are] round Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] around his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 Pois o cetro da maldade não permanecerá sobre a distribuição dos justos, para que os justos não usem suas mãos para fazer o mal.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 Do bom, Yahweh, para aqueles que são bons, para aqueles que estão eretos em seus corações.

Do good, O LORD, to [those that] are good, and to [them that are] upright in their hearts.

5 Mas quanto àqueles que se voltam para seus caminhos tortuosos, Yahweh os levará para longe com os trabalhadores da iniquidade. Que a paz esteja em Israel.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.
