Salmos 121

1 Um Canto de Ascensões. Levantarei meus olhos para as colinas. De onde vem minha ajuda?

A song of ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains. O whence shall help for me come?

2 Minha ajuda vem de Yahweh, que fizeram o céu e a terra.

From the Lord comes help to me the creator of heaven and earth.

3 Ele não permitirá que seu pé seja movimentado. Aquele que o mantém não vai dormir.

Your foot he will not let totter: he who guards you will not sleep.

4 Veja, aquele que mantém Israel não adormecerá nem dormirá.

The guardian of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 Yahweh é seu guardião. Yahweh é sua sombra à sua mão direita.

The Lord is he who guards you your shelter upon your right hand.

6 O sol não lhe fará mal durante o dia, nem a lua à noite.

The sun by day shall not strike you, nor the moon by night.

7 Yahweh irá mantê-lo longe de todo o mal. Ele manterá sua alma.

From all evil the Lord will guard you, he will guard your life.

8 Yahweh vai manter sua saída e sua entrada, a partir deste momento, e para sempre mais.

The Lord will guard your going and coming from now and for evermore.
