Salmos 115
1 Não para nós, Yahweh, não para nós, mas ao seu nome dê glória, por sua bondade amorosa, e por sua verdade.
Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth's sake.
2 Por que as nações deveriam dizer, “Onde está o Deus deles, agora?”
Why should the heathen say, Where [is] now their God?
3 Mas nosso Deus está nos céus. Ele faz o que quer que lhe agrade.
But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatever he pleased.
4 Seus ídolos são prata e ouro, o trabalho das mãos dos homens.
Their idols [are] silver and gold; the work of men's hands.
5 Eles têm bocas, mas não falam. Eles têm olhos, mas não vêem.
They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 Eles têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem. Eles têm narizes, mas não cheiram mal.
They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 Eles têm mãos, mas não sentem. Eles têm pés, mas não andam, nem falam através de sua garganta.
They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 Aqueles que os fazem serão como eles; sim, todos os que confiam neles.
They that make them are like them; [so is] every one that trusteth in them.
9 Israel, confie em Yahweh! Ele é sua ajuda e seu escudo.
O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.
10 Casa de Aaron, confiança em Yahweh! Ele é sua ajuda e seu escudo.
O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.
11 You que temem Yahweh, confiem em Yahweh! Ele é sua ajuda e seu escudo.
Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.
12 Yahweh lembra-se de nós. Ele nos abençoará. Ele abençoará a casa de Israel. Ele abençoará a casa de Aaron.
The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless [us]; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13 Ele abençoará aqueles que temem Yahweh, tanto pequenos quanto grandes.
He will bless them that fear the LORD, [both] small and great.
14 Que Yahweh o aumente cada vez mais, você e seus filhos.
The LORD will increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Abençoado seja você por Yahweh, que fizeram o céu e a terra.
Ye [are] blessed of the LORD who made heaven and earth.
16 Os céus são os céus de Yahweh, mas ele entregou a terra aos filhos dos homens.
The heaven, [even] the heavens, [are] the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17 Os mortos não elogiam o Yah, nem qualquer um que desça em silêncio,
The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
18 mas abençoaremos a Yah, a partir deste momento e para sempre mais. Louvado seja Yah!
But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for ever. Praise the LORD.
