Salmos 108

1 Uma Canção. Um Salmo de David. Meu coração está firme, Deus. Cantarei e farei música com minha alma.

A song or Psalme of David. O God, mine heart is prepared, so is my tongue: I will sing and giue praise.

2 Wake para cima, harpa e lira! Vou acordar o amanhecer.

Awake viole and harpe: I will awake early.

3 Eu lhe darei graças, Javé, entre as nações. Cantarei louvores a vocês entre os povos.

I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people, and I wil sing vnto thee among the nations.

4 Pois sua amorosa gentileza é grande acima dos céus. Sua fidelidade chega até os céus.

For thy mercy is great aboue the heauens, and thy trueth vnto the clouds.

5 Seja exaltado, Deus, acima dos céus! Que sua glória esteja sobre toda a terra.

Exalt thy self, O God, aboue the heauens, and let thy glorie be vpon all the earth,

6 Para que sua amada possa ser entregue, economize com sua mão direita e nos responda.

That thy beloued may be deliuered: helpe with thy right hand and heare me.

7 God falou a partir de seu santuário: “Em triunfo”, Vou dividir Shechem, e medir o vale de Succoth.

God hath spoken in his holinesse: therefore I will reioyce, I shall deuide Shechem and measure the valley of Succoth.

8 Gilead é meu. Manasseh é meu. Ephraim também é meu capacete. Judah é meu ceptro.

Gilead shalbe mine, and Manasseh shalbe mine: Ephraim also shalbe the strength of mine head: Iuda is my lawgiuer.

9 Moab é o meu pote de lavagem. Vou jogar minha sandália na Edom. Vou gritar sobre a Filístia”.

Moab shalbe my washpot: ouer Edom wil I cast out my shoe: vpon Palestina wil I triumph.

10 Who vai me trazer para a cidade fortificada? Quem me levará à Edom?

Who will leade mee into the strong citie? who will bring me vnto Edom?

11 Haven você não nos rejeitou, Deus? Você não sai, Deus, com nossos exércitos.

Wilt not thou, O God, which haddest forsaken vs, and diddest not goe foorth, O God, with our armies?

12 Give nós ajudamos contra o inimigo, pois a ajuda do homem é vaidosa.

Giue vs helpe against trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.

13 Through Deus, nós faremos valentemente, pois é ele quem vai pisar em nossos inimigos.

Through God we shall doe valiantly: for he shall treade downe our enemies.
