Salmos 106
1 Louvado seja Yahweh! Agradeça a Yahweh, pois ele é bom, pois sua bondade amorosa perdura para sempre.
Praise ye Jehovah. O give thanks to Jehovah, for he is good, for his loving kindness is forever.
2 Quem pode proferir os poderosos atos de Yahweh, ou declarar todos os seus elogios?
Who can utter the mighty acts of Jehovah, or show forth all his praise?
3 Bem-aventurados os que guardam a justiça. Abençoado é aquele que faz o que é certo em todos os momentos.
Blessed are those who keep justice, and he who does righteousness at all times.
4 Lembre-se de mim, Yahweh, com o favor que você mostra ao seu povo. Visite-me com sua salvação,
Remember me, O Jehovah, with the favor that thou bear to thy people. O visit me with thy salvation,
5 para que eu possa ver a prosperidade de sua escolha, que eu possa me regozijar com a alegria de sua nação, para que eu possa me gloriar com sua herança.
that I may see the prosperity of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6 We pecaram com nossos pais. Cometemos iniquidade. Fizemos maldades.
We have sinned with our fathers. We have committed iniquity. we have done wickedly.
7 Nossos pais não entenderam suas maravilhas no Egito. Eles não se lembravam da multidão de suas carinhosas gentilezas, mas eram rebeldes no mar, mesmo no Mar Vermelho.
Our fathers did not understand thy wonders in Egypt. They did not remember the multitude of thy loving kindnesses, but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.
8 Nevertheless ele os salvou por causa de seu nome, que ele possa tornar conhecido seu poderoso poder.
Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9 He também repreendeu o Mar Vermelho, e ele estava seco; por isso os conduziu através das profundezas, como através de um deserto.
He also rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up. So he led them through the depths as through a wilderness.
10 Ele os salvou da mão daquele que os odiava, e os resgatou da mão do inimigo.
And he saved them from the hand of him who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 As águas cobriam seus adversários. Não sobrou nenhum deles.
And the waters covered their adversaries; there was not one of them left.
12 Then eles acreditaram em suas palavras. Eles cantaram seus louvores.
Then they believed his words. They sang his praise.
13 Eles logo esqueceram suas obras. Eles não esperaram por seu conselho,
They soon forgot his works. They did not wait for his counsel,
14 but cedeu ao desejo de ceder no deserto, e testou Deus no terreno baldio.
but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and challenged God in the desert.
15 Ele lhes fez seu pedido, mas mandou a magreza para dentro de sua alma.
And he gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.
16 Eles invejavam Moisés também no acampamento, e Aaron, o santo de Yahweh.
They also envied Moses in the camp, and Aaron the sanctified of Jehovah.
17 A terra se abriu e engoliu o Dathan, e cobriu a empresa de Abiram.
The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18 A fogo foi acendido em sua empresa. A chama queimou os malvados.
And a fire was kindled in their company. The flame burned up the wicked men.
19 Eles fizeram um bezerro em Horeb, e adoravam uma imagem derretida.
They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped a molten image.
20 Thus eles trocaram sua glória para uma imagem de um touro que come grama.
Thus they changed their glory for the likeness of an ox that eats grass.
21 Eles se esqueceram de Deus, seu Salvador, que tinham feito grandes coisas no Egito,
They forgot God their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,
22 obras maravilhosas na terra de Ham, e coisas incríveis junto ao Mar Vermelho.
wondrous works in the land of Ham, and fearful things by the Red Sea.
23 Portanto, ele disse que iria destruí-los, se Moisés, seu escolhido, não estivesse diante dele na brecha, para desviar sua ira, para que não os destruísse.
Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy.
24 Yes, eles desprezaram a terra agradável. Eles não acreditaram na sua palavra,
Yea, they despised the pleasant land. They did not believe his word,
25 mas murmurado em suas tendas, e não ouviu a voz de Javé.
but murmured in their tents, and did not hearken to the voice of Jehovah.
26 Therefore ele jurou a eles que ele os derrubaria no deserto,
Therefore he swore to them, that he would overthrow them in the wilderness,
27 que ele derrubaria a descendência deles entre as nações, e os espalhe pelas terras.
and that he would overthrow their seed among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
28 Eles se uniram também a Baal Peor, e comeu os sacrifícios dos mortos.
They also joined themselves to Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 Thus eles o provocaram à raiva com seus atos. A praga os invadiu.
Thus they provoked him to anger with their doings, and the plague broke in upon them.
30 Então Phinehas se levantou e executou o julgamento, Assim, a peste foi detida.
Then Phinehas stood up, and executed judgment, and so the plague was stayed.
31 Isso foi creditado a ele por justiça, para todas as gerações vindouras.
And that was reckoned to him for righteousness to all generations for evermore.
32 Eles também o enfureceram com as águas do Meribah, de modo que Moisés ficou perturbado por causa deles;
They also angered him at the waters of Meribah, so that it went ill with Moses because of them,
33 porque eles se rebelaram contra seu espírito, ele falou precipitadamente com seus lábios.
because they were rebellious against his spirit, and he spoke ill-advisedly with his lips.
34 Eles não destruíram os povos, como Yahweh lhes ordenou,
They did not destroy the peoples, as Jehovah commanded them,
35 but se misturaram com as nações, e aprenderam seus trabalhos.
but mingled themselves with the nations, and learned their works,
36 Eles serviram seus ídolos, o que se tornou uma armadilha para eles.
and served their idols, which became a snare to them.
37 Yes, eles sacrificaram seus filhos e suas filhas a demônios.
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons,
38 Eles derramam sangue inocente, mesmo o sangue de seus filhos e de suas filhas, que eles sacrificaram aos ídolos de Canaã. A terra foi poluída com sangue.
and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. And the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus eles foram contaminados com suas obras, e se prostituíram em seus atos.
Thus they were defiled with their works, and played the harlot in their doings.
40 Portanto Yahweh ardeu de raiva contra seu povo. Ele abominava sua herança.
Therefore the wrath of Jehovah was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his inheritance.
41 Ele os entregou na mão das nações. Aqueles que os odiavam governavam sobre eles.
And he gave them into the hand of the nations. And those who hated them ruled over them.
42 Seus inimigos também os oprimiram. Eles foram subjugados sob suas mãos.
Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43 He resgatou-os muitas vezes, mas eles foram rebeldes em seus conselhos, e foram trazidos para baixo em sua iniquidade.
Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their iniquity.
44 Nevertheless ele considerou a aflição deles, quando ele ouviu o choro deles.
Nevertheless he regarded their distress when he heard their cry.
45 Ele lembrou por eles seu convênio, e se arrependeu de acordo com a multidão de suas carinhosas gentilezas.
And he remembered his covenant for them, and relented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
46 Ele fez com que eles também ficassem com pena por todos aqueles que os carregaram em cativeiro.
He also made them to be pitied by all those who carried them captive.
47 Salve-nos, Yahweh, nosso Deus, nos reúne entre as nações, para dar graças ao seu santo nome, para triunfar em seus louvores!
Save us, O Jehovah our God, and gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48 Bendito seja Yahweh, o Deus de Israel, da eternidade até a eternidade! Que todas as pessoas digam: “Amém”. Louvado seja Yah!
Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Truly. Praise ye Jehovah.
