Salmos 105
1 Agradeça a Yahweh! Chame seu nome! Dar a conhecer seus feitos entre os povos.
Praise the Lord, and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.
2 Cantem para ele, cantem louvores para ele! Fale de todas as suas obras maravilhosas.
Sing vnto him, sing prayse vnto him, and talke of all his wonderous workes.
3 Glory em seu santo nome. Que o coração daqueles que procuram Yahweh se regozije.
Reioyce in his holy Name: let the heart of them that seeke the Lord, reioyce.
4 Procure Yahweh e sua força. Procure seu rosto para sempre mais.
Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually.
5 Lembre-se de seus maravilhosos trabalhos que ele fez: suas maravilhas, e os julgamentos de sua boca,
Remember his marueilous woorkes, that he hath done, his wonders and the iudgements of his mouth,
6 sua descendência de Abraão, seu servo, vocês, filhos de Jacob, os escolhidos dele.
Ye seede of Abraham his seruant, ye children of Iaakob, which are his elect.
7 Ele é Yahweh, nosso Deus. Seus julgamentos estão em toda a terra.
He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are through all the earth.
8 Ele se lembrou de seu convênio para sempre, a palavra que ele ordenou a mil gerações,
He hath alway remembred his couenant and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,
9 o convênio que ele fez com Abraão, seu juramento a Isaac,
Euen that which he made with Abraham, and his othe vnto Izhak:
10 e confirmou-o a Jacob para um estatuto; a Israel por um pacto eterno,
And since hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a lawe, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant,
11 dizendo: “A vocês eu lhes darei a terra de Canaã”, o lote de sua herança”.
Saying, Vnto thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.
12 quando eles eram apenas alguns homens em número, sim, muito poucos, e os estrangeiros que estão nela.
Albeit they were fewe in nomber, yea, very fewe, and strangers in the land,
13 Eles andaram de nação em nação, de um reino para outro povo.
And walked about from nation to nation, from one kingdome to another people,
14 Ele não permitiu que ninguém os fizesse mal. Sim, ele reprovou os reis pelo bem deles,
Yet suffered he no man to doe them wrong, but reprooued Kings for their sakes, saying,
15 “Não toque nos meus ungidos! Não façam mal aos meus profetas”!
Touche not mine anointed, and doe my Prophets no harme.
16 Ele pediu por uma fome na terra. Ele destruiu o suprimento de alimentos.
Moreouer, he called a famine vpon ye land, and vtterly brake the staffe of bread.
17 Ele enviou um homem antes deles. José foi vendido por um escravo.
But he sent a man before them: Ioseph was solde for a slaue.
18 Feriram-lhe os pés com grilhões. Seu pescoço estava trancado em ferros,
They helde his feete in the stockes, and he was laide in yrons,
19 até o momento em que sua palavra aconteceu, e a palavra de Yahweh o provou ser verdadeira.
Vntill his appointed time came, and the counsell of the Lord had tryed him.
20 O rei o enviou e o libertou, mesmo o governante dos povos, e deixá-lo ir em liberdade.
The King sent and loosed him: euen the Ruler of the people deliuered him.
21 Ele o fez senhor de sua casa, e governante de todos os seus bens,
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,
22 para disciplinar seus príncipes a seu bel-prazer, e para ensinar a sabedoria a seus mais velhos.
That he shoulde binde his princes vnto his will, and teach his Ancients wisedome.
23 Israel também entrou no Egito. Jacob vivia na terra de Ham.
Then Israel came to Egypt, and Iaakob was a stranger in the land of Ham.
24 Ele aumentou muito o seu povo, e os tornou mais fortes que seus adversários.
And he increased his people exceedingly, and made them stronger then their oppressours.
25 Ele virou o coração deles para odiar seu povo, para conspirar contra seus criados.
He turned their heart to hate his people, and to deale craftily with his seruants.
26 Ele enviou Moisés, seu servo, e Aaron, que ele havia escolhido.
Then sent he Moses his seruant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 Eles realizaram milagres entre eles, e maravilhas na terra de Ham.
They shewed among them the message of his signes, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Ele enviou a escuridão, e a fez escura. Eles não se rebelaram contra suas palavras.
He sent darkenesse, and made it darke: and they were not disobedient vnto his commission.
29 Ele transformou suas águas em sangue, e mataram seus peixes.
He turned their waters into blood, and slewe their fish.
30 Their terra inundada de sapos, mesmo nos quartos de seus reis.
Their land brought foorth frogs, euen in their Kings chambers.
31 Ele falou, e vieram enxames de moscas, e piolhos em todas as suas fronteiras.
He spake, and there came swarmes of flies and lice in all their quarters.
32 Ele lhes deu granizo pela chuva, com relâmpagos em suas terras.
He gaue them haile for raine, and flames of fire in their land.
33 Ele bateu em suas videiras e também em suas figueiras, e estilhaçou as árvores de seu país.
He smote their vines also and their figge trees, and brake downe the trees in their coastes.
34 Ele falou, e os gafanhotos vieram com os gafanhotos, sem número.
He spake, and the grashoppers came, and caterpillers innumerable,
35 Eles comeram todas as plantas em suas terras, e comeram o fruto de seu solo.
And did eate vp all the grasse in their land, and deuoured the fruite of their ground.
36 Ele também atingiu todos os primogênitos em suas terras, os primeiros frutos de toda a sua masculinidade.
He smote also all the first borne in their land, euen the beginning of all their strength.
37 Ele os trouxe para fora com prata e ouro. Não havia uma única pessoa fraca entre suas tribos.
He brought them forth also with siluer and golde, and there was none feeble among their tribes.
38 O Egito ficou contente quando eles partiram, pois o medo deles tinha caído sobre eles.
Egypt was glad at their departing: for the feare of them had fallen vpon them.
39 He espalhar uma nuvem para uma cobertura, fogo para dar luz durante a noite.
He spred a cloude to be a couering, and fire to giue light in the night.
40 Eles perguntaram, e ele trouxe codornizes, e os satisfez com o pão do céu.
They asked, and he brought quailes, and he filled them with the bread of heauen.
41 Ele abriu a rocha e as águas jorraram para fora. Eles corriam como um rio nos lugares secos.
He opened the rocke, and the waters flowed out, and ranne in the drye places like a riuer.
42 Pois ele se lembrou de sua palavra sagrada, e Abraão, seu servo.
For he remembred his holy promise to Abraham his seruant,
43 Ele trouxe seu povo para fora com alegria, sua escolha com o canto.
And he brought forth his people with ioy, and his chosen with gladnesse,
44 Ele lhes deu as terras das nações. Eles tomaram o trabalho dos povos em posse,
And gaue them the lands of the heathen, and they tooke the labours of the people in possession,
45 para que eles possam manter seus estatutos, e observar suas leis. Louvado seja Yah!
That they might keepe his statutes, and obserue his Lawes. Prayse ye the Lord.
