Salmos 10
1 Por que você está longe, Yahweh? Por que você se esconde em tempos de dificuldade?
Why do you stand far off, LORD? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
2 Na arrogância, os malvados caçam os fracos. Eles estão presos nos esquemas que elaboram.
In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.
3 Pois os ímpios se vangloriam dos anseios de seu coração. Ele abençoa os gananciosos e condena Yahweh.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns the LORD.
4 O ímpio, no orgulho de seu rosto, não tem espaço em seus pensamentos para Deus.
The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.
5 Seus caminhos são sempre prósperos. Ele é arrogante, e suas leis estão longe de ser vistas por ele. Quanto a todos os seus adversários, ele zomba deles.
His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.
6 Ele diz em seu coração: “Eu não serei abalado”. Por gerações não terei problemas”.
He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”
7 Sua boca está cheia de palavrões, enganos e opressão. Debaixo de sua língua está a maldade e a iniquidade.
His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and oppression. Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
8 Ele fica à espera perto das aldeias. De emboscadas, ele assassina os inocentes. Seus olhos estão em segredo contra os indefesos.
He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.
9 Ele se esconde em segredo como um leão em sua emboscada. Ele fica à espera para pegar os indefesos. Ele pega os indefesos quando o atrai em sua rede.
He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless when he draws him in his net.
10 Os indefesos são esmagados. Eles caem. Eles caem sob suas forças.
The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.
11 Ele diz em seu coração: “Deus esqueceu”. Ele esconde seu rosto. Ele nunca o verá”.
He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”
12 Levanta-te, Yahweh! Deus, levante sua mão! Não se esqueça dos indefesos.
Arise, LORD! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
13 Por que a pessoa perversa condena a Deus, e dizer em seu coração: “Deus não me chamará em conta”...
Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?
14 Mas você vê problemas e tristezas. Você o considera para tomá-lo em suas mãos. Você ajuda a vítima e o órfão de pai.
But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.
15 Quebre o braço dos ímpios. Quanto ao homem mau, procure sua perversidade até não encontrar nenhuma.
Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.
16 Yahweh é Rei para todo o sempre! As nações perecerão fora de sua terra.
The LORD is King forever and ever! The nations will perish out of his land.
17 Yahweh, você já ouviu o desejo dos humildes. Você vai preparar o coração deles. Você fará com que seu ouvido ouça,
LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,
18 para julgar os sem pai e os oprimidos, que o homem que é da terra não pode mais aterrorizar.
to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more.
