Neemias 7
1 Agora, quando o muro foi construído e eu tinha armado as portas, e os porteiros e os cantores e os levitas foram nomeados,
Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 coloquei meu irmão Hanani, e Hananiah o governador da fortaleza, a cargo de Jerusalém; pois ele era um homem fiel e temia a Deus acima de muitos.
That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 Eu lhes disse: “Não deixem as portas de Jerusalém serem abertas até que o sol esteja quente; e enquanto eles estiverem de guarda, deixem-nos fechar as portas, e vocês os barrem; e nomeiem vigias dos habitantes de Jerusalém, todos em seu turno, com todos perto de sua casa”.
And I said to them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun shall be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint soldiers of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be opposite his house.
4 Agora a cidade era ampla e grande; mas as pessoas eram poucas, e as casas não foram construídas.
Now the city was large and great: but the people in it were few, and the houses were not built.
5 Meu Deus colocou em meu coração para reunir os nobres, e os governantes, e o povo, para que eles pudessem ser listados por genealogia. Encontrei o livro da genealogia daqueles que vieram no início, e encontrei isto escrito nele:
And my God put into my heart to gather the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a family record of the genealogy of them who came up at the first, and found written in it,
6 Estes são os filhos da província que saíram do cativeiro daqueles que haviam sido levados, que Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, havia levado, e que voltaram a Jerusalém e a Judá, todos para sua cidade,
These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one to his city;
7 que vieram com Zorobabel, Jesuá, Neemias, Azarias, Raamias, Naamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Neum e Baaná. O número dos homens do povo de Israel:
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;
8 Os filhos de Parosh: dois mil cento e setenta e dois.
The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred and seventy and two.
9 Os filhos de Shephatiah: trezentos e setenta e dois.
The children of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy and two.
10 As crianças de Arah: seiscentos e cinqüenta e dois.
The children of Arah, six hundred and fifty and two.
11 Os filhos de Pahathmoab, dos filhos de Jeshua e Joab: dois mil e oitocentos e dezoito.
The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and eighteen.
12 Os filhos de Elam: mil duzentos e cinqüenta e quatro.
The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty and four.
13 Os filhos de Zattu: oitocentos e quarenta e cinco.
The children of Zattu, eight hundred and forty and five.
14 Os filhos de Zaccai: setecentos e sessenta.
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
15 Os filhos de Binnui: seiscentos e quarenta e oito.
The children of Binnui, six hundred and forty and eight.
16 Os filhos de Bebai: seiscentos e vinte e oito.
The children of Bebai, six hundred and twenty and eight.
17 Os filhos de Azgad: dois mil trezentos e vinte e dois.
The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred and twenty and two.
18 Os filhos de Adonikam: seiscentos e sessenta e sete.
The children of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty and seven.
19 Os filhos de Bigvai: dois mil e sessenta e sete.
The children of Bigvai, two thousand and sixty and seven.
20 Os filhos de Adin: seiscentos e cinqüenta e cinco.
The children of Adin, six hundred and fifty and five.
21 Os filhos de Ater: de Hezekiah, noventa e oito anos.
The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.
22 Os filhos de Hashum: trezentos e vinte e oito.

23 Os filhos de Bezai: trezentos e vinte e quatro.

24 Os filhos de Hariph: cento e doze.
The children of Hariph, an hundred and twelve.
25 As crianças de Gibeon: noventa e cinco anos.

29 Os homens de Kiriath Jearim, Chephirah, e Beeroth: setecentos e quarenta e três.

30 Os homens de Ramah e Geba: seiscentos e vinte e um.

33 Os homens do outro Nebo: cinquenta e dois.

34 Os filhos do outro Elam: mil duzentos e cinqüenta e quatro.
The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty and four.
35 Os filhos de Harim: trezentos e vinte.
The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
36 Os filhos de Jericó: trezentos e quarenta e cinco.
The children of Jericho, three hundred and forty and five.
37 Os filhos de Lod, Hadid e Ono: setecentos e vinte e um.

38 Os filhos de Senaah: três mil novecentos e trinta.

56 as crianças de Neziah, e as crianças de Hatipha.

57 Os filhos dos servos de Salomão: os filhos de Sotai, os filhos de Sophereth, os filhos de Perida,
The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 os filhos de Jaala, os filhos de Darkon, os filhos de Giddel,
The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 os filhos de Shephatiah, os filhos de Hattil, os filhos de Pochereth Hazzebaim, e os filhos de Amon.
The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.
60 todos os servos do templo e os filhos dos servos de Salomão eram trezentos e noventa e dois.
All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred and ninety and two.
61 Estes foram os que subiram de Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addon e Immer; mas não puderam mostrar as casas de seus pais, nem seus descendentes, se eles eram de Israel:
And these were they who went up also from Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not show their father’s house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.
62 Os filhos de Delaiah, os filhos de Tobiah, os filhos de Nekoda: seiscentos e quarenta e dois.
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and forty and two.
63 Dos sacerdotes: os filhos de Hobaiah, os filhos de Hakkoz, os filhos de Barzillai, que levaram uma esposa das filhas de Barzillai, o Gileadita, e foram chamados pelo nome deles.
And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, who took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite for a wife, and was called after their name.
64 Estes procuraram seus registros genealógicos, mas não conseguiram encontrá-los. Portanto, foram considerados desqualificados e removidos do sacerdócio.
These sought their family record among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
65 O governador lhes disse para não comerem das coisas mais sagradas até que um sacerdote se levantasse para ministrar com Urim e Thummim.
And the Tirshatha said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 Toda a assembléia, em conjunto, foi quarenta e dois mil trezentos e sessenta,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and sixty,
67 além de seus servos masculinos e femininos, dos quais havia sete mil trezentos e trinta e sete. Eles tinham duzentos e quarenta e cinco homens e mulheres cantando.
Besides their male and female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred and thirty and seven: and they had two hundred and forty and five men and women singers.
68 Their os cavalos eram setecentos e trinta e seis; suas mulas, duzentas e quarenta e cinco;
Their horses, seven hundred and thirty and six: their mules, two hundred and forty and five:
69 seus camelos, quatrocentos e trinta e cinco; seus burros, seis mil setecentos e vinte.
Their camels, four hundred and thirty and five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty donkeys.
70 Some de entre os chefes de família dos pais deram para o trabalho. O governador doou ao tesouro mil dracmas de ouro, cinqüenta bacias e quinhentos e trinta vestes de padres.
And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses gave to the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasury a thousand drams of gold, fifty basins, five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
71 Alguns dos chefes de família dos pais doaram à tesouraria da obra vinte mil dracmas de ouro e duas mil e duzentas minas de prata.
And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses gave to the treasury of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 O que o resto do povo deu foram vinte mil dracmas de ouro, mais duas mil minas de prata e sessenta e sete vestes sacerdotais.
And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty and seven priests’ garments.
73 So os sacerdotes, os levitas, os porteiros, os cantores, alguns do povo, os servos do templo, e todo Israel viviam em suas cidades. Quando chegou o sétimo mês, as crianças de Israel estavam em suas cidades.
So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
