Neemias 3
1 Então Eliashib, o sumo sacerdote, levantou-se com seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, e eles construíram o portão das ovelhas. Eles a santificaram, e montaram suas portas. Santificaram-na até a torre de Hammeah, até a torre de Hananel.
Then rose up Elyashib the high priest with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep-gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors: even as far as the tower of Meah did they sanctify it, as far as the tower of Chananel.
2 Ao seu lado, os homens de Jericó construíram. Ao lado deles Zaccur, o filho de Imri, construiu.
And by his side built the men of Jericho. And by his [other] side built Zaccur the son of Imri.
3 Os filhos de Hassenaah construíram o portão do peixe. Eles colocaram suas vigas e montaram suas portas, seus parafusos e suas barras.
But the fish-gate did the sons of Hassenaah build: they also laid its beams, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
4 Ao lado deles, Meremoth, o filho de Uriah, o filho de Hakkoz, fez reparos. Ao lado deles, Meshullam, filho de Berechiah, o filho de Meshezabel, fez reparos. Junto a eles, Zadok, filho de Baana, fez reparos.
And alongside of them repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah, the son of Kakkoz. And alongside of them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah, the son of Meshezabel. And alongside of them repaired Zadok the son of Ba'ana.
5 Ao lado deles, os tecoítas fizeram reparos; mas seus nobres não colocaram seu pescoço na obra do Senhor.
And alongside of them repaired the Teko'ites; but their principal men put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6 Joiada, filho de Paseah, e Meshullam, filho de Besodeiah, repararam o antigo portão. Eles colocaram suas vigas e montaram suas portas, seus parafusos e suas barras.
Moreover the old gate repaired Yoyada' the son of Passeach, and Meshullam the son of Bessodeyah: they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
7 Ao lado deles, Melatiah o Gibeonita e Jadon o Meronothite, os homens de Gibeon e de Mizpah, consertaram a residência do governador além do rio.
And alongside of them repaired Melatyah the Gib'onite, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gib'on and of Mizpah, unto the seat of the governor on this side of the river.
8 Ao seu lado, Uzziel, o filho de Harhaiah, ourives, fez reparos. Ao seu lado, Hananias, um dos perfumistas, fez reparos, e eles fortificaram Jerusalém até o largo muro.
Alongside of him repaired 'Uzziel the son of Charhayah, of the goldsmiths. And alongside of him repaired Chananyah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem as far as the broad wall.
9 Ao lado deles, Rephaiah, o filho de Hur, o governante de metade do distrito de Jerusalém, fez reparos.
And alongside of them repaired Rephayah the son of Chur, the chief of the half of the district of Jerusalem.
10 Ao lado deles, Jedaías, o filho de Harumaph, fez reparos em frente à sua casa. Ao lado dele, Hattush, o filho de Hasabneia, fez reparos.
And alongside of them repaired Jedayah the son of Charumaph, and this opposite to his house. And alongside of him repaired Chattush the son of Chashabneyah.
11 Malchijah, filho de Harim, e Hasshub, filho de Pahathmoab, consertaram outra porção e a torre dos fornos.
Another division did Malkiyah the son of Charim, and Chashub the son of Pachathmoab, repair, as also the tower of the ovens.
12 Ao lado dele, Salum o filho de Hallohesh, o governante de metade do distrito de Jerusalém, ele e suas filhas fizeram reparos.
And alongside of him repaired Shallum the son of Hallochesh, the chief of the other half of the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 Hanun e os habitantes de Zanoah repararam o portão do vale. Eles o construíram e montaram suas portas, seus parafusos e suas barras e mil cúbitos da parede até o portão do esterco.
The gate of the valley repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoach: they built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the dung-gate.
14 Malchijah o filho de Rechab, o governante do distrito de Beth Haccherem, reparou o portão do esterco. Ele o construiu e montou suas portas, seus ferrolhos e suas barras.
And the dung-gate repaired Malkiyah the son of Rechah, the chief of the district of Beth-hakkerem: he built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
15 Shallun o filho de Colhozeh, o governante do distrito de Mizpah, reparou o portão de mola. Ele o construiu, cobriu-o e montou suas portas, seus ferrolhos e suas barras; e reparou o muro da piscina de Selá junto ao jardim do rei, até as escadas que descem da cidade de Davi.
And the gate of the fountain repaired Shallum the son of Col-chozeh, the chief of the district of Mizpah: he built it and covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Shelach by the king's garden, and as far as the stairs that lead down from the city of David.
16 Depois dele, Neemias, filho de Azbuk, o governante de metade do distrito de Bet Zur, fez reparos no lugar em frente aos túmulos de Davi, e na piscina que foi feita, e na casa dos homens poderosos.
Next to him repaired Nehemiah the son of 'Azbuk, the chief of the half district of Beth-zur, as far as the place opposite to the sepulchres of David, and as far as the pool that was [newly] made, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
17 Depois dele, os Levitas-Rehum, o filho de Bani, fizeram reparos. Ao seu lado, Hashabiah, o governante de metade do distrito de Keilah, fez reparos em seu distrito.
Next to him repaired the Levites: Rechum the son of Bani. Alongside of him repaired Chashabyah, the chief of the half district of Ke'ilah, for his district.
18 Depois dele, seus irmãos, Bavvai, filho de Henadad, o governante da metade do distrito de Keilah, fizeram reparos.
Next to him repaired their brethren: Bavai the son of Chenadad, the chief of the [other] half district of Ke'ilah.
19 Ao seu lado, Ezer, filho de Jeshua, o governante de Mizpah, reparou outra porção, desde a subida até a armaria, no virar do muro.
And there repaired alongside of him 'Ezer the son of Joshua, the chief of Mizpah, another division, opposite to the ascent to the armory at the angle.
20 Depois dele, Baruch, o filho de Zabbai, consertou com seriedade outra porção, desde o virar do muro até a porta da casa de Eliashib, o sumo sacerdote.
Next to him did Baruch the son of Zaccai' earnestly repair another division, from the angle as far as the door of the house of Elyashib the high priest.
21 Depois dele, Meremoth, filho de Uriah, filho de Hakkoz, reparou outra porção, desde a porta da casa de Eliashib até o final da casa de Eliashib.
Next to him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah the son of Hakkoz another division, from the door of the house of Elyashib even as far as the end of the house of Elyashib.
22 Depois dele, os sacerdotes, os homens das redondezas, fizeram reparos.
And next to him repaired the priests, the men of the plain [of Jordan].
23 Depois deles, Benjamin e Hasshub fizeram reparos do outro lado de sua casa. Depois deles, Azarias, filho de Maaséias, filho de Ananias, fez reparos ao lado de sua própria casa.
Next to him repaired Benjamin and Chashub opposite to their house. Next to him repaired 'Azaryah the son of Ma'aseyah the son of 'Ananyah alongside of his house.
24 Depois dele, Binnui, filho de Henadad, reparou outra porção, da casa de Azarias até o virar do muro, e até a esquina.
Next to him repaired Binnui the son of Chenadad another division, from the house of 'Azaryah as far as the angle, and as far as the corner.
25 Palal o filho de Uzai fez reparos em frente ao virar do muro, e a torre que se destaca da casa superior do rei, que fica ao lado da corte da guarda. Depois dele, Pedaiah, o filho de Parosh, fez reparos.
Palal the son of Uzai [repaired] from opposite to the angle, and the tower which standeth out from the king's upper house, that was by the court of the prison. Next to him Pedayah the son of Par'osh.
26 (Agora os servos do templo viviam em Ophel, para o lugar em frente ao portão de água em direção ao leste, e a torre que se destaca).
And the temple-servants dwelt on the hill fort, [and they built] as far as opposite to the water-gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out.
27 Depois dele os tecoítas repararam outra porção, em frente à grande torre que se destaca, e para a parede de Ofel.
Next to them repaired the Teko'ites another division from opposite the great tower that standeth out, and as far as the wall of the hill fort.
28 Acima do portão do cavalo, os padres fizeram reparos, todos do outro lado de sua própria casa.
From above the horse-gate repaired the priests, every one opposite to his house.
29 Depois deles, Zadok, o filho de Immer, fez reparos do outro lado de sua própria casa. Depois dele, Shemaiah, o filho de Shecaniah, o guardião do portão leste, fez reparos.
Next to this repaired Zadok the son of Immer opposite to his house. And next to him repaired Shema'yah the son of Schechanyah, the keeper of the east gate.
30 Depois dele, Hananiah, filho de Selemias, e Hanun, o sexto filho de Zalaf, repararam outra porção. Depois dele, Meshullam, o filho de Berequias, fez reparos do outro lado de seu quarto.
Next to him repaired Chananyah the son of Shelemyah, and Chanun the sixth son of Zalaph another division. Next to him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah opposite to his chamber.
31 Depois dele, Malchijah, um dos ourives da casa dos criados do templo, e dos comerciantes, fez reparos em frente ao portão de Hammiphkad e à subida da esquina.
Next to him repaired Malkiyah the goldsmith's son as far as the house of the temple-servants, and of the merchants, opposite to the mustering-gate, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
32 Entre a subida da esquina e o portão das ovelhas, os ourives e os mercadores fizeram reparos.
And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep-gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
