Mateus 25
1 “Então o Reino dos Céus será como dez virgens que pegaram suas lâmpadas e saíram para se encontrar com o noivo.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 Cinco delas foram insensatas, e cinco foram sábias.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 As que foram insensatas, quando levaram suas lâmpadas, não levaram óleo com elas,
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 mas as sábias levaram óleo em suas embarcações com suas lâmpadas.
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 Agora, enquanto o noivo se atrasava, todos eles adormeciam e dormiam.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 Mas à meia-noite houve um grito: 'Vejam! O noivo está chegando! Saiam para conhecê-lo!
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go all of you out to meet him.
7 Então todas aquelas virgens se levantaram, e apararam suas lâmpadas.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 A tola disse ao sábio: 'Dê-nos um pouco do seu óleo, pois nossas lâmpadas estão se apagando'.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 Mas os sábios responderam, dizendo: 'E se não houver o suficiente para nós e para você? Você vai antes para aqueles que vendem, e compra para si mesmo”.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go all of you rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 Enquanto eles foram comprar, o noivo chegou, e aqueles que estavam prontos entraram com ele para a festa de casamento, e a porta foi fechada.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Depois vieram também as outras virgens, dizendo: 'Senhor, Senhor, abre-te para nós'.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 Mas ele respondeu: 'Certamente eu te digo, eu não te conheço'.
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Observem portanto, pois vocês não sabem o dia nem a hora em que o Filho do Homem está chegando.
Watch therefore, for all of you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.
14 “Pois é como um homem indo para outro país, que chamou seus próprios servos e confiou seus bens a eles”.
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 A um ele deu cinco talentos, a outros dois, a outro, a cada um de acordo com sua própria capacidade. Em seguida, ele prosseguiu sua viagem.
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and immediately took his journey.
16 Imediatamente aquele que recebeu os cinco talentos foi e negociou com eles, e fez outros cinco talentos.
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 Da mesma forma, aquele que recebeu os dois também ganhou outros dois.
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 Mas aquele que recebeu o único talento foi embora e cavou na terra e escondeu o dinheiro de seu senhor.
But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 “Agora, depois de muito tempo, o senhor desses criados veio e acertou contas com eles.
After a long time the lord of those servants comes, and reckons (logos) with them.
20 Aquele que recebeu os cinco talentos veio e trouxe outros cinco talentos, dizendo: 'Senhor, Vós me entregastes cinco talentos. Eis que eu ganhei outros cinco talentos além deles”.
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 “Seu senhor lhe disse: 'Muito bem, servo bom e fiel'. Você tem sido fiel em algumas coisas, eu o colocarei sobre muitas coisas”. Entrai na alegria de vosso senhor”.
His lord said unto him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.
22 “Aquele que recebeu os dois talentos também veio e disse: 'Senhor, tu me entregaste dois talentos'. Eis que eu ganhei outros dois talentos além deles”.
He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 “Seu senhor lhe disse: 'Muito bem, servo bom e fiel'. Você tem sido fiel em algumas coisas. Eu o colocarei sobre muitas coisas”. Entrai na alegria de vosso senhor”.
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.
24 “Aquele que tinha recebido o único talento veio e disse: 'Senhor, eu sabia que você é um homem duro, colhendo onde não semeou e recolhendo onde não espalhou'.
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered:
25 Eu tive medo e fui embora e escondi seu talento na terra. Eis que tu tens o que é teu”.
And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, there you have that is yours.
26 “Mas seu senhor lhe respondeu: 'Seu servo perverso e preguiçoso'. Sabia que eu colho onde não semeei, e recolho onde não espalhei”.
His lord answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not scattered:
27 Portanto, o senhor deveria ter depositado meu dinheiro nos banqueiros, e na minha vinda eu deveria ter recebido de volta o meu com juros.
You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with interest.
28 Tire-lhe, portanto, o talento e dê-o a quem tem os dez talentos.
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which has ten talents.
29 Pois a todo aquele que tem será dado, e ele terá abundância, mas daquele que não tem, até mesmo o que ele tem será tirado.
For unto every one that has shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has.
30 Lance o servo não lucrativo para a escuridão exterior, onde haverá pranto e ranger de dentes'.
And cast all of you the useless servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31 “Mas quando o Filho do Homem vier em sua glória, e todos os santos anjos com ele, então ele se sentará no trono de sua glória”.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 Diante dele todas as nações serão reunidas, e ele as separará umas das outras, como um pastor separa as ovelhas dos cabritos.
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:
33 Ele colocará as ovelhas à sua direita, mas os bodes à esquerda.
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Então o Rei dirá aos que estiverem à sua direita: 'Vinde, benditos de meu Pai, herdai o Reino preparado para vós desde a fundação do mundo;
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, all of you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 pois tive fome e me destes de comer. Tive sede e me destes de beber”. Eu era um estranho e vocês me acolheram.
For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and all of you took me in:
36 eu estava nua e você me vestiu. Eu estava doente e você me visitou. Eu estava na prisão e você veio até mim'.
Naked, and all of you clothed me: I was sick, and all of you visited me: I was in prison, and all of you came unto me.
37 “Então o justo lhe responderá, dizendo: 'Senhor, quando te vimos com fome e te demos de comer, ou com sede e te demos de beber?
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink?
38 Quando te vimos como um estranho e te acolhemos, ou te vestimos nu e te vestimos?
When saw we you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you?
39 Quando o vimos doente ou na prisão e viemos até você?
Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came unto you?
40 “O Rei lhes responderá: 'Certamente eu lhes digo, porque vocês o fizeram a um dos menores destes meus irmãos, vocês o fizeram a mim'.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, all of you have done it unto me.
41 Então ele dirá também aos que estão à esquerda: 'Parti de mim, malditos, para o fogo eterno que está preparado para o diabo e seus anjos; (aiōnios g166)
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, all of you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (aiōnios g166)
42 pois tive fome, e não me destes de comer; tive sede, e não me destes de beber;
For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me no food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me no drink:
43 era um estranho, e não me acolhestes; nu, e não me vestistes; doente, e na prisão, e não me visitastes'.
I was a stranger, and all of you took me not in: naked, and all of you clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and all of you visited me not.
44 “Então eles também responderão, dizendo: 'Senhor, quando te vimos com fome, ou com sede, ou com um estranho, ou nu, ou doente, ou na prisão, e não te ajudamos?
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto you?
45 “Então ele lhes responderá, dizendo: 'Certamente eu lhe digo, porque você não o fez a um dos menores, você não o fez a mim'.
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you did it not to one of the least of these, all of you did it not to me.
