Marcos 2
1 Quando ele entrou novamente em Cafarnaum, após alguns dias, ouviu-se dizer que ele estava em casa.
A few days later Jesus went back to Capernaum. And when the people heard that He was home,
2 Immediately muitos estavam reunidos, para que não houvesse mais espaço, nem mesmo ao redor da porta; e ele lhes disse a palavra.
they gathered in such large numbers that there was no more room, not even outside the door, as Jesus spoke the word to them.
3 Quatro pessoas vieram, carregando um paralítico para ele.
Then a paralytic was brought to Him, carried by four men.
4 Quando não puderam chegar perto dele para a multidão, removeram o telhado onde ele estava. Quando o quebraram, soltaram a esteira sobre a qual o paralítico estava deitado.
Since they were unable to get to Jesus through the crowd, they uncovered the roof above Him, made an opening, and lowered the paralytic on his mat.
5 Jesus, vendo a fé deles, disse ao paralítico: “Filho, teus pecados te são perdoados”.
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
6 Mas havia alguns dos escribas sentados ali e raciocinando em seus corações,
But some of the scribes were sitting there and thinking in their hearts,
7 “Por que este homem fala blasfêmias dessa maneira? Quem pode perdoar pecados senão só Deus”?
“Why does this man speak like this? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
8 Imediatamente Jesus, percebendo em seu espírito que eles assim raciocinavam dentro de si mesmos, disse-lhes: “Por que vocês raciocinam estas coisas em seus corações?
At once Jesus knew in His spirit that they were thinking this way within themselves. “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?” He asked.
9 O que é mais fácil, para dizer ao paralítico: 'Seus pecados são perdoados'; ou para dizer: 'Levante-se, pegue sua cama e caminhe'
“Which is easier: to say to a paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and walk’?
10 Mas para que você saiba que o Filho do Homem tem autoridade na terra para perdoar pecados” - disse ao paralítico -
But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” He said to the paralytic,
11 “Eu lhe digo, levante-se, pegue sua esteira e vá para sua casa”.
“I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”
12 Ele se levantou, pegou imediatamente o tapete e saiu na frente de todos eles, para que todos ficassem maravilhados e glorificassem a Deus, dizendo: “Nunca vimos nada assim”!
And immediately the man got up, picked up his mat, and walked out in front of them all. As a result, they were all astounded and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”
13 Ele saiu novamente à beira-mar. Toda a multidão veio até ele, e ele os ensinou.
Once again Jesus went out beside the sea. All the people came to Him, and He taught them there.
14 Ao passar, ele viu Levi, o filho de Alfeu, sentado no escritório de impostos. Ele disse a ele: “Siga-me”. E ele se levantou e o seguiu.
As He was walking along, He saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Levi got up and followed Him.
15 Ele estava reclinado à mesa em sua casa, e muitos cobradores de impostos e pecadores sentaram-se com Jesus e seus discípulos, pois eram muitos, e eles o seguiram.
While Jesus was dining at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with Him and His disciples—for there were many who followed Him.
16 Os escribas e os fariseus, quando viram que ele estava comendo com os pecadores e cobradores de impostos, disseram a seus discípulos: “Por que ele come e bebe com cobradores de impostos e pecadores”?
When the scribes who were Pharisees saw Jesus eating with these people, they asked His disciples, “Why does He eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
17 Quando Jesus ouviu isso, disse-lhes: “Aqueles que são saudáveis não têm necessidade de médico, mas aqueles que estão doentes”. Eu vim não para chamar os justos, mas os pecadores para o arrependimento”.
On hearing this, Jesus told them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
18 Os discípulos de João e os fariseus jejuavam, e eles vieram e lhe perguntaram: “Por que os discípulos de João e os discípulos dos fariseus jejuam, mas seus discípulos não jejuam”?
Now John’s disciples and the Pharisees were often fasting. So people came to Jesus and asked, “Why don’t Your disciples fast like John’s disciples and those of the Pharisees?”
19 Jesus disse-lhes: “Podem os noivos jejuar enquanto o noivo está com eles? Enquanto eles tiverem o noivo com eles, não podem jejuar.
Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while He is with them? As long as He is with them, they cannot fast.
20 Mas virão os dias em que o noivo lhes será tirado, e então eles jejuarão nesse dia.
But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
21 Ninguém costura um pedaço de pano não encolhido em uma peça de roupa velha, ou então o remendo encolhe e as novas lágrimas se afastam do velho, e um buraco pior é feito.
No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the new piece will pull away from the old, and a worse tear will result.
22 Ninguém põe vinho novo em odres velhos; ou então o vinho novo rebenta as peles, e o vinho se derrama, e as peles são destruídas; mas eles colocam vinho novo em odres frescos”.
And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, new wine is poured into new wineskins.”
23 Ele ia no dia de sábado através dos campos de grãos; e seus discípulos começaram, enquanto iam, a colher as espigas de grãos.
One Sabbath Jesus was passing through the grainfields, and His disciples began to pick the heads of grain as they walked along.
24 Os fariseus lhe disseram: “Eis porque eles fazem o que não é lícito no sábado”.
So the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”
25 Ele lhes disse: “Você nunca leu o que David fez quando precisou e estava com fome - ele, e aqueles que estavam com ele?
Jesus replied, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?
26 Como ele entrou na casa de Deus na época de Abiathar, o sumo sacerdote, e comeu o pão do espetáculo, que não é lícito comer exceto para os sacerdotes, e deu também para aqueles que estavam com ele”?
During the high priesthood of Abiathar, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which was lawful only for the priests. And he gave some to his companions as well.”
27 Ele lhes disse: “O sábado foi feito para o homem, não o homem para o sábado”.
Then Jesus declared, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
28 Portanto, o Filho do Homem é senhor até do sábado”.
Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
