Marcos 12
1 Ele começou a falar com eles em parábolas. “Um homem plantou uma vinha, colocou uma sebe ao redor dela, cavou um poço para o lagar, construiu uma torre, alugou-a a um fazendeiro e foi para outro país.
He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.
2 Quando chegou a hora, ele enviou um criado ao fazendeiro para receber do agricultor sua parte do fruto do vinhedo.
When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.
3 Eles o levaram, bateram nele e o mandaram embora vazio.
They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.
4 Novamente, ele enviou outro criado para eles; e eles jogaram pedras nele, o feriram na cabeça e o mandaram embora, vergonhosamente tratados.
Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
5 Novamente ele mandou outro, e eles o mataram, e muitos outros, espancando alguns, e matando alguns.
Again he sent another, and they killed him, and many others, beating some, and killing some.
6 Portanto, ainda tendo um, seu filho amado, ele o enviou por último a eles, dizendo: “Eles respeitarão meu filho”.
Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
7 Mas aqueles fazendeiros disseram entre si: 'Este é o herdeiro'. Venha, vamos matá-lo, e a herança será nossa”.
But those farmers said amongst themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
8 Eles o levaram, o mataram e o expulsaram da vinha.
They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
9 O que fará, portanto, o senhor da vinha? Ele virá e destruirá os agricultores, e dará o vinhedo a outros.
What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.
10 Você ainda nem leu esta Escritura: “A pedra que os construtores rejeitaram foi feita a cabeça da esquina.
Haven’t you even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner.
11 Isto foi do Senhor. É maravilhoso aos nossos olhos”...
This was from the Lord. It is marvellous in our eyes’?”
12 Eles tentaram pegá-lo, mas temiam a multidão; pois perceberam que ele falava a parábola contra eles. Eles o deixaram e foram embora.
They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.
13 Enviaram-lhe alguns dos fariseus e herodianos, para que o prendessem com palavras.
They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.
14 Quando chegaram, perguntaram-lhe: “Mestre, sabemos que você é honesto, e não se apresse a ninguém; pois você não é parcial para ninguém, mas verdadeiramente ensina o caminho de Deus”. É lícito pagar impostos a César, ou não?
When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
15 Shall nós damos, ou não daremos”? Mas ele, conhecendo a hipocrisia deles, disse-lhes: “Por que me testam? Tragam-me um denário, para que eu possa vê-lo”.
Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”
16 Eles o trouxeram. Ele lhes disse: “De quem é esta imagem e inscrição?”. Disseram-lhe: “De César”.
They brought it. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”
17 Jesus lhes respondeu: “Dai a César as coisas que são de César, e a Deus as coisas que são de Deus”. Eles se maravilharam muito com ele.
Jesus answered them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” They marvelled greatly at him.
18 Alguns saduceus, que dizem que não há ressurreição, vieram até ele. Eles lhe perguntaram, dizendo:
Some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, saying,
19 “Professor, Moisés nos escreveu: 'Se o irmão de um homem morre e deixa uma esposa atrás de si, e não deixa filhos, que seu irmão deve pegar sua esposa e criar descendência para seu irmão'.
“Teacher, Moses wrote to us, ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’
20 Havia sete irmãos. O primeiro tomou uma esposa, e morrer não deixou descendência.
There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.
21 O segundo a levou, e morreu, não deixando nenhuma criança para trás dele. O terceiro também;
The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;
22 e os sete a pegaram e não deixaram filhos. Por último, a mulher também morreu.
and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.
23 Na ressurreição, quando eles se levantarem, de quem será a esposa deles? Pois os sete a tiveram como esposa”.
In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.”
24 Jesus respondeu-lhes: “Não é isto porque vocês estão enganados, sem conhecer as Escrituras nem o poder de Deus?
Jesus answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?
25 Pois quando ressuscitam dos mortos, eles não se casam nem são dados em casamento, mas são como anjos no céu.
For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
26 Mas sobre os mortos, que ressuscitam, você não leu no livro de Moisés sobre o Bush, como Deus falou com ele, dizendo: 'Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó'?
But about the dead, that they are raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
27 Ele não é o Deus dos mortos, mas dos vivos. Portanto, você está muito enganado”.
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.”
28 Um dos escribas veio e os ouviu questionando juntos, e sabendo que lhes havia respondido bem, perguntou-lhe: “Qual mandamento é o maior de todos?
One of the scribes came and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”
29 Jesus respondeu: “O maior é: Ouve, Israel, o Senhor nosso Deus, o Senhor é um só”.
Jesus answered, “The greatest is: ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
30 Amarás o Senhor teu Deus com todo o teu coração, com toda a tua alma, com toda a tua mente e com todas as tuas forças”. Este é o primeiro mandamento.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
31 O segundo é assim: “Amarás o teu próximo como a ti mesmo”. Não há outro mandamento maior do que estes”.
The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
32 O escriba lhe disse: “Verdadeiramente, professor, você disse bem que ele é um, e não há outro senão ele;
The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he;
33 e amá-lo com todo o coração, com toda a compreensão, toda a alma, e com toda a força, e amar o próximo como a si mesmo, é mais importante do que todos os holocaustos e sacrifícios”.
and to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 Quando Jesus viu que ele respondeu sabiamente, disse-lhe: “Não estás longe do Reino de Deus”. Ninguém ousou fazer-lhe qualquer pergunta depois disso.
When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.
35 Jesus respondeu, como ele ensinou no templo: “Como é que os escribas dizem que o Cristo é o filho de Davi?
Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
36 Pois o próprio Davi disse no Espírito Santo, O Senhor disse ao meu Senhor, “Sente-se à minha mão direita, até que eu faça de seus inimigos o escabelo de seus pés”'.
For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’
37 Portanto, o próprio David o chama de Senhor, então como ele pode ser seu filho”? As pessoas comuns o ouviram de bom grado.
Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.
38 Em seus ensinamentos ele lhes disse: “Cuidado com os escribas, que gostam de andar em longas vestes, e de receber saudações nos mercados,
In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,
39 e de conseguir os melhores assentos nas sinagogas e os melhores lugares nas festas,
and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best places at feasts,
40 aqueles que devoram as casas das viúvas, e por uma pretensão fazer longas orações. Estes receberão uma condenação maior”.
those who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”
41 Jesus sentou-se em frente à tesouraria e viu como a multidão jogou dinheiro na tesouraria. Muitos que eram ricos jogaram muito.
Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the multitude cast money into the treasury. Many who were rich cast in much.
42 Uma viúva pobre veio e lançou em duas pequenas moedas de latão, que equivalem a uma moeda de quadrans.
A poor widow came and she cast in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin.
43 Ele chamou seus discípulos para si mesmo e disse-lhes: “Certamente eu lhes digo, esta pobre viúva deu mais do que todos aqueles que estão dando para o tesouro,
He called his disciples to himself and said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury,
44 pois todos deram de sua abundância, mas ela, de sua pobreza, deu tudo o que tinha para viver”.
for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.”
