Lucas 16
1 Ele também disse a seus discípulos: “Havia um certo homem rico que tinha um gerente. Foi feita uma acusação a ele de que este homem estava desperdiçando seus bens.
And he said also unto his disciples, 'A certain man was rich, who had a steward, and he was accused to him as scattering his goods;
2 Ele o chamou, e lhe disse: “O que é isso que ouço de você? Faça uma contabilidade de sua gestão, pois você não pode mais ser gerente”.
and having called him, he said to him, What [is] this I hear about thee? render the account of thy stewardship, for thou mayest not any longer be steward.
3 “O gerente disse dentro de si mesmo: 'O que vou fazer, vendo que meu senhor está me tirando o cargo de gerente? Eu não tenho forças para cavar. Tenho vergonha de mendigar.
'And the steward said in himself, What shall I do, because my lord doth take away the stewardship from me? to dig I am not able, to beg I am ashamed: —
4 Eu sei o que vou fazer, para que quando eu for removido da gerência, eles possam me receber em suas casas”.
I have known what I shall do, that, when I may be removed from the stewardship, they may receive me to their houses.
5 Chamando cada um dos devedores de seu senhor a ele, ele disse ao primeiro: 'Quanto você deve a meu senhor?'
'And having called near each one of his lord's debtors, he said to the first, How much dost thou owe to my lord?
6 Ele disse: 'Cem batos de óleo'. Disse-lhe: 'Pegue sua conta, sente-se rapidamente e escreva cinqüenta'.
and he said, A hundred baths of oil; and he said to him, Take thy bill, and having sat down write fifty.
7 Então ele disse a outro: 'Quanto você deve?'. Ele disse: 'Cem batos de trigo'. Ele lhe disse: 'Pegue sua conta e escreva oitenta'.
'Afterward to another he said, And thou, how much dost thou owe? and he said, A hundred cors of wheat; and he saith to him, Take thy bill, and write eighty.
8 “Seu senhor elogiou o gerente desonesto porque ele tinha feito sabiamente, pois as crianças deste mundo são, em sua própria geração, mais sábias do que as crianças da luz. (aiōn g165)
'And the lord commended the unrighteous steward that he did prudently, because the sons of this age are more prudent than the sons of the light, in respect to their generation. (aiōn g165)
9 Digo-vos, fazei-vos amigos por meio do mamão iníquo, para que quando falhardes, eles vos recebam nas tendas eternas. (aiōnios g166)
and I say to you, Make to yourselves friends out of the mammon of unrighteousness, that when ye may fail, they may receive you to the age-during tabernacles. (aiōnios g166)
10 Aquele que é fiel em muito pouco é fiel também em muito. Aquele que é desonesto em muito pouco, também é desonesto em muito.
'He who is faithful in the least, [is] also faithful in much; and he who in the least [is] unrighteous, is also unrighteous in much;
11 Se, portanto, você não tiver sido fiel no mamão iníquo, quem se comprometerá com sua confiança nas verdadeiras riquezas?
if, then, in the unrighteous mammon ye became not faithful — the true who will entrust to you?
12 Se você não foi fiel no que é de outrem, quem lhe dará o que é seu?
and if in the other's ye became not faithful — your own, who shall give to you?
13 Nenhum servo pode servir a dois senhores, pois ou ele vai odiar um e amar o outro; ou então ele vai se apegar a um e desprezar o outro. Você não é capaz de servir a Deus e Mammon”.
'No domestic is able to serve two lords, for either the one he will hate, and the other he will love; or one he will hold to, and of the other he will be heedless; ye are not able to serve God and mammon.'
14 Os fariseus, que eram amantes do dinheiro, também ouviram todas essas coisas, e zombaram dele.
And also the Pharisees, being lovers of money, were hearing all these things, and were deriding him,
15 Ele lhes disse: “Vocês são aqueles que se justificam aos olhos dos homens, mas Deus conhece seus corações”. Porque o que é exaltado entre os homens é uma abominação aos olhos de Deus”.
and he said to them, 'Ye are those declaring yourselves righteous before men, but God doth know your hearts; because that which among men is high, [is] abomination before God;
16 “A lei e os profetas foram até João. Desde então, a Boa Nova do Reino de Deus é pregada, e todos estão forçando seu caminho.
the law and the prophets [are] till John; since then the reign of God is proclaimed good news, and every one doth press into it;
17 Mas é mais fácil para o céu e a terra passarem do que cair um pequeno golpe de caneta na lei.
and it is easier to the heaven and the earth to pass away, than of the law one tittle to fall.
18 “Todo aquele que se divorciar de sua esposa e casar com outra comete adultério. Aquele que se casa com alguém divorciado de um marido comete adultério.
'Every one who is sending away his wife, and marrying another, doth commit adultery; and every one who is marrying her sent away from a husband doth commit adultery.
19 “Agora havia um certo homem rico, e ele estava vestido de roxo e linho fino, vivendo no luxo todos os dias.
'And — a certain man was rich, and was clothed in purple and fine linen, making merry sumptuously every day,
20 Um certo mendigo, chamado Lázaro, foi levado ao seu portão, cheio de feridas,
and there was a certain poor man, by name Lazarus, who was laid at his porch, full of sores,
21 e desejando ser alimentado com as migalhas que caíam da mesa do homem rico. Sim, até os cães vieram e lamberam suas feridas.
and desiring to be filled from the crumbs that are falling from the table of the rich man; yea, also the dogs, coming, were licking his sores.
22 O mendigo morreu, e foi levado pelos anjos ao seio de Abraão. O homem rico também morreu e foi enterrado.
'And it came to pass, that the poor man died, and that he was carried away by the messengers to the bosom of Abraham — and the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 Em Hades, ele levantou os olhos, estando em tormento, e viu Abraão longe, e Lázaro em seu seio. (Hadēs g86)
and in the hades having lifted up his eyes, being in torments, he doth see Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom, (Hadēs g86)
24 Ele gritou e disse: “Padre Abraão, tenha piedade de mim, e mande Lázaro, para que ele mergulhe a ponta do dedo na água e refresque minha língua! Pois estou angustiado com esta chama”.
and having cried, he said, Father Abraham, deal kindly with me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and may cool my tongue, because I am distressed in this flame.
25 “Mas Abraão disse: 'Filho, lembre-se que você, em sua vida, recebeu suas coisas boas, e Lázaro, da mesma forma, coisas ruins'. Mas aqui ele agora está confortado e você está angustiado.
'And Abraham said, Child, remember that thou did receive — thou — thy good things in thy life, and Lazarus in like manner the evil things, and now he is comforted, and thou art distressed;
26 Além de tudo isso, entre nós e você há um grande abismo fixado, que aqueles que querem passar daqui para você não são capazes, e que ninguém pode passar dali para nós”.
and besides all these things, between us and you a great chasm is fixed, so that they who are willing to go over from hence unto you are not able, nor do they from thence to us pass through.
27 “Ele disse: 'Peço-lhe portanto, pai, que o envie à casa de meu pai -
'And he said, I pray thee, then, father, that thou mayest send him to the house of my father,
28 pois tenho cinco irmãos - para que ele possa testemunhar a eles, para que não venham também a este lugar de tormento'.
for I have five brothers, so that he may thoroughly testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment.
29 “Mas Abraão lhe disse: 'Eles têm Moisés e os profetas'. Que os ouçam”.
'Abraham saith to him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them;
30 “Ele disse: 'Não, padre Abraham, mas se alguém for até eles de entre os mortos, eles se arrependerão'.
and he said, No, father Abraham, but if any one from the dead may go unto them, they will reform.
31 “Ele lhe disse: 'Se eles não escutarem Moisés e os profetas, também não serão persuadidos se alguém ressuscitar dos mortos'”.
And he said to him, If Moses and the prophets they do not hear, neither if one may rise out of the dead will they be persuaded.'
