Lucas 12
1 Enquanto isso, quando uma multidão de muitos milhares se reunia, de tal forma que se pisavam uns aos outros, ele começou a dizer a seus discípulos: “Cuidado com o fermento dos fariseus, que é hipocrisia”.
During which time the myriads of the multitude having gathered together so as to trample each other, he began first to say to his disciples, Take heed to yourselves from the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 Mas não há nada encoberto que não será revelado, nem escondido que não será conhecido.
But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
3 Portanto, o que quer que tenha dito na escuridão será ouvido na luz. O que você falou ao ouvido nas salas interiores será proclamado nos telhados da casa.
Therefore, as many things as ye have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what ye have spoken in the ear in the inner chambers will be proclaimed upon the housetops.
4 “Eu lhes digo, meus amigos, não tenham medo daqueles que matam o corpo, e depois disso não têm mais o que fazer.
And I say to you my friends, Be not afraid of those who kill the body, and after these things not having anything more severe to do.
5 Mas eu os advertirei a quem devem temer. Temam a quem, depois de matar, tem poder para lançar na Geena. Sim, eu lhes digo, temam-no. (Geenna g1067)
But I will show you whom ye should fear. Fear him, who, after killing, has power to cast into hell. Yes, I say to you, fear ye him. (Geenna g1067)
6 “Não são cinco pardais vendidos por duas moedas de assaria? Nem um deles é esquecido por Deus.
Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten in the sight of God.
7 Mas os próprios pêlos de sua cabeça são todos contados. Portanto, não tenha medo. Você tem mais valor do que muitos pardais.
But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore, ye are superior to many sparrows.
8 “Digo-vos, todos aqueles que me confessarem diante dos homens, o Filho do Homem também confessará diante dos anjos de Deus;
And I say to you, every man who will confess in me before men, the Son of man will also confess in him before the agents of God,
9 mas aquele que me negar na presença dos homens será negado na presença dos anjos de Deus.
but he who denies me in the presence of men will be denied in the presence of the agents of God.
10 Todos que disserem uma palavra contra o Filho do Homem serão perdoados, mas aqueles que blasfemarem contra o Espírito Santo não serão perdoados.
And every man who will speak a word against the Son of man, it will be forgiven him, but to him who blasphemed against the Holy Spirit it will not be forgiven.
11 Quando o apresentarem diante das sinagogas, dos governantes e das autoridades, não esteja ansioso como ou o que você responderá ou o que você dirá;
And when they bring you to the synagogues, and the principle positions, and the offices of authority, be not anxious how or what ye should answer in defense, or what ye should say,
12 pois o Espírito Santo lhe ensinará, nessa mesma hora, o que você deve dizer”.
for the Holy Spirit will teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
13 Um dos muitos lhe disse: “Professor, diga a meu irmão para dividir a herança comigo”.
And a certain man out of the crowd said to him, Teacher, speak to my brother to divide the inheritance with me.
14 Mas ele lhe disse: “Homem, quem me fez juiz ou árbitro sobre você?”
But he said to him, Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbitrator over you?
15 Ele disse a eles: “Cuidado! Guardai-vos da cobiça, pois a vida de um homem não consiste na abundância das coisas que ele possui”.
And he said to them, Watch, and keep away from greed, because to any man, life to him is not in the abundance of things possessed by him.
16 Ele lhes contou uma parábola, dizendo: “O solo de um certo homem rico produziu abundantemente”.
And he spoke a parable to them, saying, The land of a certain rich man brought forth well.
17 Ele raciocinou dentro de si, dizendo: 'O que farei, porque não tenho espaço para armazenar minhas colheitas?'
And he pondered within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have nowhere I will store my crops?
18 Ele disse: 'Isto é o que farei'. Vou derrubar meus celeiros, construir celeiros maiores, e ali vou armazenar todos os meus grãos e minhas mercadorias.
And he said, I will do this. I will dismantle my barns, and I will build greater, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
19 Direi à minha alma: “Alma, você tem muitos bens guardados por muitos anos”. Coma, coma, beba e se alegre”.
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou have many goods laid up for many years. Take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry.
20 “Mas Deus disse a ele: 'Você é um tolo, esta noite sua alma é exigida de você'. As coisas que você preparou - quem serão elas?'
But God said to him, Thou foolish man, they demand thy soul from thee this night, and the things that thou prepared, whose will they be?
21 Assim é aquele que coloca um tesouro para si mesmo, e não é rico para com Deus”.
So is he who stores up for himself, and is not being rich toward God.
22 Ele disse a seus discípulos: “Portanto, eu lhes digo: não estejam ansiosos por sua vida, pelo que comerão, nem ainda pelo seu corpo, pelo que vestirão”.
And he said to his disciples, Because of this I say to you, be not anxious for your life, what ye may eat, nor for the body, what ye may wear.
23 A vida é mais do que comida, e o corpo é mais do que roupa.
For the life is more than the food, and the body, the clothing.
24 Considere os corvos: eles não semeiam, não colhem, não têm armazém ou celeiro, e Deus os alimenta. Quão mais valiosos são vocês do que as aves!
Consider the ravens, because they do not sow, nor do they reap, for which there is no storehouse nor barn, and God feeds them. How much ye are worth more than the birds.
25 Qual de vocês, por estarem ansiosos, pode acrescentar um côvado à sua altura?
And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his age?
26 Se então vocês não são capazes de fazer nem as mínimas coisas, por que estão ansiosos com o resto?
If then ye are not able to do even the least, why are ye anxious about the rest?
27 Considere os lírios, como eles crescem. Eles não labutam, nem giram; no entanto, eu lhe digo que nem mesmo Salomão, em toda a sua glória, estava vestido como um desses.
Consider the lilies, how they grow. They toil not, nor do they spin, and I say to you, not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed like one of these.
28 Mas se é assim que Deus veste a grama do campo, que hoje existe e amanhã é lançada no forno, quanto mais ele te vestirá, ó tu de pouca fé?
And if God so clothes the grass in the field, which today is, and tomorrow being cast into the oven, how much more you, O ye of little faith?
29 “Não procure o que você vai comer ou o que você vai beber; nem esteja ansioso.
And do not seek what ye may eat, and what ye may drink, and do not be unsettled.
30 Pois as nações do mundo procuram depois de todas estas coisas, mas seu Pai sabe que você precisa destas coisas.
For the nations of the world seek all these things, and your Father knows that ye have need of these things.
31 Mas buscai o Reino de Deus, e todas estas coisas vos serão acrescentadas.
However, seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you.
32 “Não tenha medo, pequeno rebanho, pois é um bom prazer para seu Pai dar-lhe o Reino”.
Fear not, little flock, because your Father is well pleased to give you the kingdom.
33 Venda o que você tem e dê presentes para os necessitados. Façam para vocês bolsas que não envelheçam, um tesouro no céu que não falhece, onde nenhum ladrão se aproxima e nenhuma traça destrói.
Sell things possessed by you, and give charity. Make for yourselves purses not becoming old, a treasure unfailing in the heavens, where no thief approaches, nor moth corrupts.
34 Pois onde estiver seu tesouro, lá estará também seu coração.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
35 “Deixe sua cintura ser vestida e suas lâmpadas queimadas”.
Let your loins be girded about, and the lights burning,
36 Seja como os homens que estão de olho em seu senhor quando ele voltar da festa de casamento, para que quando ele vier e bater, eles possam abrir imediatamente para ele.
and be ye like men waiting for their lord, when he may return from the wedding festivities, so that when he comes and knocks, they may straightaway open to him.
37 Bem-aventurados os servos que o senhor encontrará vigiando quando ele vier. Certamente vos digo que ele se vestirá, os fará reclinar-se e virá para servi-los.
Blessed are those bondmen whom the lord when he comes will find watching. Truly I say to you, that he will gird himself, and will cause them to sit down, and having come, will serve them.
38 Eles serão abençoados se ele vier na segunda ou terceira vigília e os achar assim.
And if he should come in the second watch, and should come in the third watch, and find so, blessed are those bondmen.
39 Mas saiba que, se o dono da casa soubesse a que hora o ladrão estava chegando, ele teria observado e não teria permitido que sua casa fosse invadida.
But know this, that if the house-ruler had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
40 Portanto, estejam prontos também, pois o Filho do Homem está chegando em uma hora que não se espera dele”.
Therefore, ye also become ready, because the Son of man comes at that hour ye do not suppose.
41 Peter disse a ele: “Senhor, você está contando esta parábola para nós, ou para todos?
And Peter said to him, Lord, did thou speak this parable to us, or also to all?
42 O Senhor disse: “Quem é então o fiel e sábio mordomo, que seu senhor colocará sobre sua casa, para lhes dar sua porção de alimento nos momentos certos?
And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise manager whom his lord will appoint over his service to give the provision on time?
43 Bem-aventurado aquele servo que seu senhor encontrará fazendo isso quando vier.
Blessed is that bondman whom his lord when he comes will find so doing.
44 Em verdade vos digo que ele o colocará sobre tudo o que ele tem.
Truly I say to you, that he will appoint him over the things being possessed by him.
45 Mas se aquele servo diz em seu coração: 'Meu senhor atrasa sua vinda', e começa a bater nos servos e nas criadas, e a comer, beber e se embriagar,
But if that bondman should say in his heart, My lord is late to come, and should begin to beat the servant boys and the servant girls, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken,
46 então o senhor daquele servo virá em um dia em que ele não o espera e em uma hora que ele não sabe, e o cortará em dois, e colocará sua porção com os infiéis.
the lord of that bondman will arrive in a day that he does not expect, and in an hour that he is not aware, and will cut him in two, and will place his portion with the unbelieving.
47 aquele servo que conhecia a vontade de seu senhor, e não preparou nem fez o que queria, será espancado com muitas riscas,
And that bondman who knew his lord's will, and who did not prepare, nor do according to his will, will be beaten much,
48 mas aquele que não sabia, e fez coisas dignas de riscas, será espancado com poucas riscas. A quem muito é dado, muito será exigido dele; e a quem muito foi confiado, muito mais será pedido dele.
but he who did not know, and did things worthy of blows, will be beaten little. And to every man to whom much was given, much will be required from him. And to whom they entrust much, they will ask him more abundantly.
49 “Eu vim para lançar fogo sobre a terra. Gostaria que já tivesse sido acendido.
I came to cast fire upon the earth, and what I desire is if it were kindled already.
50 Mas eu tenho um batismo para ser batizado, e como estou angustiado até que ele seja realizado!
But I have an immersion to be immersed, and how am I constrained until it will be accomplished.
51 Você acha que eu vim para dar paz na terra? Eu lhe digo que não, mas sim divisão.
Do ye suppose that I came to give peace on the earth? I tell you, no, but rather division.
52 Pois de agora em diante, haverá cinco em uma casa divididos, três contra dois, e dois contra três.
For henceforth there will be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
53 Serão divididos, pai contra filho, e filho contra pai; mãe contra filha, e filha contra mãe; sogra contra nora, e nora contra sogra”.
A father will be divided against a son, and a son against a father, a mother against a daughter, and a daughter against a mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
54 Ele disse também às multidões: “Quando você vê uma nuvem se levantando do oeste, imediatamente você diz: 'Um banho está vindo', e assim acontece.
And he also said to the multitudes, When ye see a cloud rising from the west, straightaway ye say, A shower is coming, and so it happens.
55 Quando sopra um vento do sul, você diz: 'Haverá um calor abrasador' e isso acontece.
And when a south wind is blowing, ye say, There will be heat, and it happens.
56 Seus hipócritas! Vocês sabem interpretar a aparência da terra e do céu, mas como é que desta vez não interpretam?
Ye hypocrites, ye know how to examine the face of the earth and the sky, but how can ye not examine this season?
57 “Por que vocês não julgam por si mesmos o que é certo?
And also why do ye not judge yourselves what is right?
58 Pois quando você estiver indo com seu adversário diante do magistrado, tente diligentemente no caminho para ser libertado dele, para que ele não o arraste até o juiz, e o juiz o entregue ao oficial, e o oficial o jogue na prisão.
For when thou go with thine opponent to the magistrate on the way give effort to be delivered from him, lest he may drag thee to the judge, and the judge may deliver thee to the officer, and the officer would cast thee into prison.
59 Eu lhe digo, você não sairá de lá de forma alguma até que tenha pago o último centavo.”
I say to thee, thou will, no, not come out from there, until thou have paid even the last mite.
