1 Após a morte de Josué, os filhos de Israel perguntaram a Javé, dizendo: “Quem deveria subir por nós primeiro contra os cananeus, para lutar contra eles”?
And it was after [the] death of Joshua and they enquired [the] people of Israel by Yahweh saying who? will he go up for us against the Canaanite[s] at the first to engage in battle against him.
2 Yahweh disse: “Judah subirá”. Eis que eu entreguei a terra em suas mãos”.
And he said Yahweh Judah he will go up here! I have given the land in hand his.
3 Judah disse a Simeon, seu irmão: “Venha comigo à minha sorte, para que possamos lutar contra os cananeus; e eu também irei com você à sua sorte”. Então Simeão foi com ele.
And he said Judah to Simeon brother his come up with me in lot my so let us fight against the Canaanite[s] and I will go also I with you in lot your and he went with him Simeon.
4 Judah subiu, e Yahweh entregou os cananeus e os perizeus em suas mãos. Eles atingiram dez mil homens em Bezek.
And he went up Judah and he gave Yahweh the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s] in hand their and they defeated them at Bezek ten thousand man.
5 Eles encontraram Adoni-Bezek em Bezek, e lutaram contra ele. Eles atingiram os cananeus e os perizitas.
And they found Adoni-Bezek at Bezek and they fought against him and they defeated the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s].
6 Mas Adoni-Bezek fugiu. Eles o perseguiram, o pegaram e cortaram seus polegares e seus grandes dedos dos pés.
And he fled Adoni-Bezek and they pursued after him and they seized him and they cut off [the] thumbs of hands his and feet his.
7 Adoni-Bezek disse: “Setenta reis, tendo seus polegares e seus grandes dedos dos pés cortados, foram esquartejados debaixo da minha mesa”. Como eu fiz, assim Deus me fez a mim”. Eles o trouxeram para Jerusalém, e ele morreu lá.
And he said Adoni-Bezek seventy - kings [the] thumbs of hands their and feet their cut off they were gathering up under table my just as I have done so he has repaid to me God and they brought him Jerusalem and he died there.
8 Os filhos de Judá lutaram contra Jerusalém, tomaram-na, atingiram-na com o fio da espada e incendiaram a cidade.
And they fought [the] descendants of Judah against Jerusalem and they captured it and they struck it to [the] mouth of [the] sword and the city they sent in fire.
9 Depois disso, as crianças de Judah desceram para lutar contra os cananeus que viviam na região montanhosa, e no Sul, e na planície.
And after they went down [the] descendants of Judah to fight against the Canaanite[s] [who] dwelt of the hill country and the Negev and the Shephelah.
10 Judah foi contra os cananeus que viviam em Hebron. (O nome de Hebron antes era Kiriath Arba.) Eles atingiram Sheshai, Ahiman e Talmai.
And he went Judah against the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Hebron and [the] name of Hebron before [was] Kiriath Arba and they defeated Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai.
11 De lá, ele foi contra os habitantes de Debir. (O nome de Debir antes era Kiriath Sepher)
And he went from there against [the] inhabitants of Debir and [the] name of Debir before [was] Kiriath Sepher.
12 Caleb disse: “Darei minha filha Achsah como esposa ao homem que atacar Kiriath Sepher, e a levarei”.
And he said Caleb [the one] who he will strike Kiriath Sepher and he will capture it and I will give to him Achsah daughter my to a wife.
13 Othniel, filho de Kenaz, o irmão mais novo de Caleb, tomou-a, então ele lhe deu sua filha Achsah como esposa.
And he captured it Othniel [the] son of Kenaz [the] brother of Caleb young more than him and he gave to him Achsah daughter his to a wife.
14 Quando ela chegou, ela conseguiu que ele pedisse um campo ao pai. Ela saiu do burro e Caleb lhe disse: “O que você gostaria?”.
And it was when came she and she incited him to ask from with father her the field and she went down from on the donkey and he said to her Caleb what? [is] to you.
15 Ela lhe disse: “Dê-me uma bênção; porque você me colocou na terra do Sul, dê-me também nascentes de água”. Então Caleb lhe deu as fontes superiores e as fontes inferiores.
And she said to him give! to me a blessing for [the] land of the Negev you have given to me and you will give to me springs of water and he gave to her Caleb springs upper and springs lower.
16 Os filhos do Kenita, cunhado de Moisés, subiram da cidade de palmeiras com os filhos de Judá para o deserto de Judá, que fica no sul de Arad; e foram viver com o povo.
And [the] descendants of [the] Kenite [the] father-in-law of Moses they went up from [the] city of the palm trees with [the] descendants of Judah [the] wilderness of Judah which [is] in [the] Negev Arad and he went and he dwelt with the people.
17 Judá foi com Simeão, seu irmão, e eles atingiram os cananeus que habitavam Zefate, e o destruíram completamente. O nome da cidade foi chamado Hormah.
And he went Judah with Simeon brother his and they attacked the Canaanite[s] [who] dwelt of Zephath and they totally destroyed it and he called [the] name of the city Hormah.
18 Também Judah tomou Gaza com sua fronteira, Ashkelon com sua fronteira, e Ekron com sua fronteira.
And he captured Judah Gaza and territory its and Ashkelon and territory its and Ekron and territory its.
19 Yahweh estava com Judah, e expulsou os habitantes da região montanhosa; pois ele não podia expulsar os habitantes do vale, pois eles tinham carruagens de ferro.
And he was Yahweh (with *L(abh)*) Judah and it took possession of the hill country for not to dispossess [the] inhabitants of the valley for chariotry of iron [belonged] to them.
20 Eles deram Hebron a Caleb, como Moisés havia dito, e ele expulsou os três filhos de Anak de lá.
And people gave to Caleb Hebron just as he had said Moses and he dispossessed from there three [the] sons of Anak.
21 Os filhos de Benjamim não expulsaram os jebuseus que habitavam Jerusalém, mas os jebuseus habitam com os filhos de Benjamim em Jerusalém até os dias de hoje.
And the Jebusite[s] [who] dwelt of Jerusalem not they dispossessed [the] descendants of Benjamin and he has dwelt the Jebusite[s] with [the] descendants of Benjamin in Jerusalem until the day this.
22 A casa de José também foi contra Betel, e Yahweh estava com eles.
And they went up [the] house of Joseph also they Beth-el and Yahweh [was] with them.
23 A casa de José enviou para espionar Betel. (O nome da cidade antes disso era Luz)
And they caused to spy out [the] house of Joseph at Beth-el and [the] name of the city before [was] Luz.
24 Os observadores viram um homem sair da cidade, e lhe disseram: “Por favor, mostre-nos a entrada na cidade, e nós trataremos gentilmente com você”.
And they saw those [who] watched a man coming out from the city and they said to him show us please [the] entrance of the city and we will do with you loyalty.
25 Ele lhes mostrou a entrada na cidade, e eles atingiram a cidade com o fio da espada; mas eles deixaram o homem e toda sua família ir.
And he showed them [the] entrance of the city and they struck the city to [the] mouth of [the] sword and the man and all family his they let go.
26 O homem entrou na terra dos hititas, construiu uma cidade, e chamou seu nome de Luz, que é seu nome até hoje.
And he went the man [the] land of the Hittites and he built a city and he called name its Luz that [is] name its until the day this.
27 Manasseh não expulsou os habitantes de Beth Shean e suas cidades, nem de Taanach e suas cidades, nem os habitantes de Dor e suas cidades, nem os habitantes de Ibleam e suas cidades, nem os habitantes de Megiddo e suas cidades; mas os cananeus habitariam naquela terra.
And not it took possession of Manasseh Beth Shean and daughters its and Taanach and daughters its and ([the] inhabitants of *Q(K)*) Dor and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Ibleam and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Megiddo and daughters its and it was determined the Canaanite[s] to dwell in the land this.
28 Quando Israel se tornou forte, eles colocaram os cananeus em trabalhos forçados, e não os expulsaram totalmente.
And it was that it became strong Israel and it made the Canaanite[s] into forced labor and certainly not it dispossessed him.
29 Efraim não expulsou os cananeus que viviam em Gezer, mas os cananeus viviam em Gezer, entre eles.
And Ephraim not it dispossessed the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Gezer and it dwelt the Canaanite[s] in midst its in Gezer.
30 Zebulun não expulsou os habitantes de Kitron, nem os habitantes de Nahalol; mas os cananeus viveram entre eles, e tornaram-se sujeitos a trabalhos forçados.
Zebulun not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Kitron and [the] inhabitants of Nahalol and it dwelt the Canaanite[s] in midst its and they became forced labor.
31 Asher não expulsou os habitantes de Acco, nem os habitantes de Sidon, nem os habitantes de Ahlab, nem os de Achzib, nem os de Helbah, nem os de Aphik, nem os de Rehob;
Asher not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Acco and [the] inhabitants of Sidon and Ahlab and Aczib and Helbah and Aphek and Rehob.
32 mas os asheritas viveram entre os cananeus, os habitantes da terra, pois eles não os expulsaram.
And it dwelt the Asherite[s] in [the] midst of the Canaanite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land for not it dispossessed it.
33 Naftali não expulsou os habitantes de Beth Shemesh, nem os habitantes de Beth Anath; mas ele viveu entre os cananeus, os habitantes da terra. Entretanto, os habitantes de Beth Shemesh e de Beth Anath ficaram sujeitos a trabalhos forçados.
Naphtali not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Beth Shemesh and [the] inhabitants of Beth Anath and it dwelt in [the] midst of the Canaanite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land and [the] inhabitants of Beth Shemesh and Beth Anath they became for them forced labor.
34 Os amoritas forçaram os filhos de Dan a entrarem na região montanhosa, pois não lhes permitiram descer ao vale;
And they pressed the Amorite[s] [the] descendants of Dan the hill country towards for not it permitted it to go down to the valley.
35 mas os amoritas morariam no Monte Heres, em Aijalon, e em Shaalbim. Mas a mão da casa de José prevaleceu, de modo que eles se submeteram ao trabalho forçado.
And it was determined the Amorite[s] to dwell in [the] mountain of Heres in Aijalon and in Shaalbim and it was heavy [the] hand of [the] house of Joseph and they became forced labor.
36 A fronteira dos amorreus era desde a subida de Akrabbim, desde a rocha, e para cima.
And [the] border of the Amorite[s] [was] from [the] ascent of scorpions from Sela and up-wards.
