Jó 33
1 “Entretanto, Job, por favor, ouça meu discurso, e escute todas as minhas palavras.
Therefore do thou but hear, O Job, my speeches, and give ear to all my words.
2 Veja agora, eu abri minha boca. Minha língua falou em minha boca.
Behold now, I have opened my mouth, my tongue speaketh in my mouth.
3 Minhas palavras dirão a retidão do meu coração. O que meus lábios sabem que falarão com sinceridade.
Out of my straightforward heart [come] my sayings, and my lips utter knowledge clearly.
4 O Espírito de Deus me fez, e o sopro do Todo-Poderoso me dá vida.
The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty giveth me life.
5 Se você puder, responda-me. Ponha suas palavras em ordem diante de mim, e levante-se.
If thou canst, answer me, array thyself before me, stand forward.
6 Eis que estou para Deus como você está. Eu também sou formado a partir do barro.
Behold, I am in the same relation as thyself toward God: I myself also am cut out of the clay.
7 Eis que meu terror não vos fará ter medo, nem minha pressão será pesada para você.
Behold, dread of me cannot terrify thee, and my pressure will not be too heavy upon thee.
8 “Certamente você falou na minha audiência, Ouvi a voz de suas palavras, dizendo,
But thou hast said before my ears, and the sound of the words I still hear,
9 'Eu estou limpo, sem desobediência. Sou inocente, nem há iniqüidade em mim.
“I am pure without transgression, I am quite clean; and there is no iniquity in me:
10 Eis que ele encontra ocasiões contra mim. Ele me conta para seu inimigo.
Yet, behold, he findeth hateful backsliding on me, he regardeth me as an enemy unto him;
11 Ele coloca meus pés no estoque. Ele marca todos os meus caminhos”.
He putteth my feet in the stocks, he watcheth all my paths.”
12 “Eis que lhe responderei. Nisto você não é apenas, pois Deus é maior que o homem.
Behold, In this thou art not just: I will answer thee; for God is far greater than a mortal.
13 Por que você se esforça contra ele? porque ele não dá conta de nenhum de seus assuntos?
Why dost thou contend against him? for with all his words will he not give an answer.
14 Pois Deus fala uma vez, sim duas vezes, embora o homem não preste atenção.
For God speaketh once, yea twice: [yet man] regardeth it not.
15 Em um sonho, em uma visão da noite, quando o sono profundo cai sobre os homens, em adormecer sobre a cama,
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumbers upon the couch:
16 então ele abre os ouvidos dos homens, e sela suas instruções,
Then doth he lay open the ear of men, and sealeth it with their warning;
17 that ele pode retirar o homem de seu propósito, e esconder o orgulho do homem.
To remove the son of earth [from his intended] deed and he covereth up pride from man;
18 Ele mantém sua alma afastada do poço, e sua vida de perecer pela espada.
He withholdeth his soul from the pit, and his life from passing away by the sword.
19 “Ele é castigado também com dores em sua cama, com contínuas lutas em seus ossos,
And so is he admonished by pain upon his couch, and all his bones with violent [aches].
20 so que sua vida abomina o pão, e sua alma alimento delicado.
So that his inclination abhorreth bread, and his soul, the most agreeable food.
21 Sua carne está tão consumida que não pode ser vista. Seus ossos que não foram vistos ressaltam.
His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen, and his bones that were not seen stick out.
22 Yes, sua alma se aproxima do poço, e sua vida para os destruidores.
Yea, his soul draweth near unto the pit, and his life to those that slay.
23 “Se houver ao seu lado um anjo, um intérprete, um entre mil, para mostrar ao homem o que é certo para ele,
If there be now about him one single angel, as defender, one out of a thousand, to tell for man his uprightness:
24 então Deus é gracioso com ele, e diz, “Entregá-lo de ir para o poço”, Eu encontrei um resgate”.
Then is he gracious unto him, and saith, Release him from going down to the pit, I have found an atonement.
25 Sua carne será mais fresca que a de uma criança. Ele retorna aos dias de sua juventude.
His flesh becometh full again as in youth: he returneth to the days of his boyhood.
26 Ele reza a Deus, e é favorável a ele, para que ele veja seu rosto com alegria. Ele devolve ao homem sua retidão.
He will offer his entreaty unto God, and he will receive him in favor, that he may see his face with joy: so doth He recompense unto the mortal his righteousness.
27 Ele canta diante dos homens, e diz, Eu pequei e perverti o que estava certo”, e isso não me beneficiou.
He then should assemble men around, and say, “I had sinned, and perverted what is right, yet have I not received a like return.”
28 Ele redimiu minha alma de ir para o poço. Minha vida verá a luz”.
Thus he redeemeth his soul from passing into the pit, and his life will look joyously on the light.
29 “Eis que Deus faz todas estas coisas”, duas, sim três vezes, com um homem,
Lo, all these things doth God two or three times with man;
30 para trazer sua alma de volta do poço, que ele possa ser iluminado com a luz dos vivos.
To bring back his soul from the pit, that she may shine in the light of life.
31 Mark bem, Job, e me escute. Fique tranqüilo, e eu falarei.
Listen well, O Job, hearken unto me: keep silence, and I will truly speak.
32 Se você tem algo a dizer, responda-me. Fale, pois desejo justificá-lo.
If thou hast any words, answer me: speak, for I wish to justify thee.
33 Caso contrário, escute-me. Cale-se e eu lhe ensinarei a sabedoria”.
If not, hearken thou unto me: keep silence, and I will teach thee wisdom.
