Jó 32
1 Assim, estes três homens deixaram de responder a Jó, porque ele era justo a seus próprios olhos.
So these three men ceased to answere Iob, because he esteemed himselfe iust.
2 Então a ira de Elihu, filho de Barachel, o Buzita, da família de Ram, foi acesa contra Jó. Sua ira foi acesa porque ele se justificava a si mesmo e não a Deus.
Then the wrath of Elihu the sonne of Barachel the Buzite, of the familie of Ram, was kindled: his wrath, I say, was kindled against Iob, because he iustified himselfe more then God.
3 Também sua ira foi acesa contra seus três amigos, porque eles não encontraram resposta, e ainda assim condenaram Jó.
Also his anger was kindled against his three friends, because they could not finde an answere, and yet condemned Iob.
4 Agora Elihu havia esperado para falar com Jó, porque eles eram mais velhos do que ele.
(Now Elihu had wayted til Iob had spoken: for they were more ancient in yeeres then he)
5 Quando Elihu viu que não havia resposta na boca desses três homens, sua ira se acendeu.
So when Elihu saw, that there was none answere in the mouth of the three men, his wrath was kindled.
6 Elihu, filho de Barachel, o Buzita, respondeu, “Eu sou jovem e você é muito velho”. Portanto, retive-me e não me atrevi a mostrar minha opinião.
Therefore Elihu the sonne of Barachel, the Buzite answered, and sayd, I am yong in yeres, and ye are ancient: therefore I doubted, and was afraide to shewe you mine opinion.
7 Eu disse: 'Os dias devem falar', e multidão de anos deve ensinar sabedoria'.
For I said, The dayes shall speake, and the multitude of yeeres shall teach wisedome.
8 Mas há um espírito no homem, e o Espírito do Todo-Poderoso lhes dá compreensão.
Surely there is a spirite in man, but the inspiration of the Almightie giueth vnderstanding.
9 Não são os grandes que são sábios, nem os idosos que entendem de justiça.
Great men are not alway wise, neither doe the aged alway vnderstand iudgement.
10 Por isso eu disse: 'Escute-me'; Também vou mostrar minha opinião”.
Therefore I say, Heare me, and I will shew also mine opinion.
11 “Contemplei, esperei por suas palavras, e escutei por seu raciocínio, enquanto você procurava o que dizer.
Behold, I did waite vpon your wordes, and hearkened vnto your knowledge, whiles you sought out reasons.
12 Sim, eu lhe dei toda a minha atenção, mas não houve ninguém que convenceu Job, ou quem respondeu às suas palavras, entre vocês.
Yea, when I had considered you, lo, there was none of you that reproued Iob, nor answered his wordes:
13 Cuidado para não dizer: 'Nós encontramos a sabedoria'. Deus pode refutá-lo, não o homem;'
Lest ye should say, We haue found wisedome: for God hath cast him downe, and no man.
14 pois ele não dirigiu suas palavras contra mim; nem lhe responderei com seus discursos.
Yet hath he not directed his words to me, neyther will I answere him by your wordes.
15 “Eles estão maravilhados. Eles não respondem mais. Eles não têm uma palavra a dizer.
Then they fearing, answered no more, but left off their talke.
16 Devo esperar, porque eles não falam, porque eles ficam parados, e não respondem mais?
When I had wayted (for they spake not, but stood still and answered no more)
17 Também vou responder minha parte, e também vou mostrar minha opinião.
Then answered I in my turne, and I shewed mine opinion.
18 Pois eu estou cheio de palavras. O espírito dentro de mim me constrange.
For I am full of matter, and the spirite within me compelleth me.
19 Eis que meu peito é como um vinho que não tem respiradouro; como odres novos, está pronto para explodir.
Beholde, my belly is as the wine, which hath no vent, and like the new bottels that brast.
20 I falará, para que eu possa ser refrescado. Vou abrir meus lábios e responder.
Therefore will I speake, that I may take breath: I will open my lippes, and will answere.
21 Por favor, não me deixe respeitar a pessoa de nenhum homem, nem vou dar títulos lisonjeiros a nenhum homem.
I will not now accept the person of man, neyther will I giue titles to man.
22 Pois eu não sei como dar títulos lisonjeiros, ou então meu Criador logo me levaria embora.
For I may not giue titles, lest my Maker should take me away suddenly.
