Jó 27
1 Job retomou a sua parábola, e disse,
Moreouer Iob proceeded and continued his parable, saying,
2 “Como Deus vive, quem me tirou o direito, o Todo-Poderoso, que tornou minha alma amarga
The liuing God hath taken away my iudgement: for the Almightie hath put my soule in bitternesse.
3 (pois a duração da minha vida ainda está em mim, e o espírito de Deus está em minhas narinas);
Yet so long as my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God in my nostrels,
4 certamente meus lábios não falarão injustiça, nem a minha língua vai enganar totalmente.
My lips surely shall speake no wickednesse, and my tongue shall vtter no deceite.
5 Longe de mim que eu deveria justificar você. Até que eu morra, não vou afastar de mim a minha integridade.
God forbid, that I should iustifie you: vntill I dye, I will neuer take away mine innocencie from my selfe.
6 Eu me apego à minha retidão e não a deixarei ir. Meu coração não me censurará enquanto eu viver.
I will keepe my righteousnesse, and wil not forsake it: mine heart shall not reprooue me of my dayes.
7 “Que meu inimigo seja como o maligno. Que aquele que se levantar contra mim seja como o iníquo.
Mine enemie shall be as the wicked, and he that riseth against me, as the vnrighteous.
8 Para o que é a esperança dos ímpios, quando ele é cortado, quando Deus lhe tira a vida?
For what hope hath the hypocrite when he hath heaped vp riches, if God take away his soule?
9 Será que Deus vai ouvir seu grito quando os problemas vierem sobre ele?
Will God heare his cry, when trouble commeth vpon him?
10 Ele se deleitará com o Todo-Poderoso, e chamar a Deus em todos os momentos?
Will he set his delight on the Almightie? will he call vpon God at all times?
11 Eu lhe ensinarei sobre a mão de Deus. Não vou esconder o que está com o Todo-Poderoso.
I will teache you what is in the hande of God, and I wil not conceale that which is with the Almightie.
12 Eis que todos vocês já o viram por conta própria; por que, então, você se tornou totalmente vaidoso?
Beholde, all ye your selues haue seene it: why then doe you thus vanish in vanitie?
13 “Esta é a porção de um homem perverso com Deus, a herança dos opressores, que eles recebem do Todo-Poderoso.
This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of tyrants, which they shall receiue of the Almightie.
14 Se seus filhos são multiplicados, é para a espada. Seus descendentes não ficarão satisfeitos com o pão.
If his children be in great nomber, the sworde shall destroy them, and his posteritie shall not be satisfied with bread.
15 Those que restarem dele serão enterrados na morte. Suas viúvas não farão lamentações.
His remnant shall be buried in death, and his widowes shall not weepe.
16 Apesar de amontoar prata como poeira, e preparar roupas como o barro;
Though he shoulde heape vp siluer as the dust, and prepare rayment as the clay,
17 he pode prepará-lo, mas o justo o colocará, e os inocentes dividirão a prata.
He may prepare it, but the iust shall put it on, and the innocent shall deuide the siluer.
18 Ele constrói sua casa como a traça, como um estande que o vigia faz.
He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a lodge that the watchman maketh.
19 Ele se deita rico, mas não o fará novamente. Ele abre os olhos, e não o é.
When the rich man sleepeth, he shall not be gathered to his fathers: they opened their eyes, and he was gone.
20 Os terrores o ultrapassam como as águas. Uma tempestade o rouba durante a noite.
Terrours shall take him as waters, and a tempest shall cary him away by night.
21 O vento leste o leva, e ele parte. Isso o varre de seu lugar.
The East winde shall take him away, and he shall depart: and it shall hurle him out of his place.
22 Pois lhe custa caro e não poupa, enquanto ele foge de sua mão.
And God shall cast vpon him and not spare, though he would faine flee out of his hand.
23 Men baterão palmas para ele, e o assobiará para fora de seu lugar.
Euery man shall clap their hands at him, and hisse at him out of their place.
