Jó 21
1 Então Job respondeu,
Bvt Iob answered, and sayd,
2 “Ouça diligentemente meu discurso. Que esta seja sua consolação.
Heare diligently my wordes, and this shalbe in stead of your consolations.
3 Allow me, e também vou falar. Depois de ter falado, zombar.
Suffer mee, that I may speake, and when I haue spoken, mocke on.
4 Quanto a mim, minha reclamação é para o homem? Por que eu não deveria ser impaciente?
Doe I direct my talke to man? If it were so, how should not my spirit be troubled?
5 Olhe para mim, e fique maravilhado. Coloque sua mão sobre sua boca.
Marke mee, and be abashed, and lay your hand vpon your mouth.
6 Quando me lembro, fico perturbado. O horror toma conta da minha carne.
Euen when I remember, I am afrayde, and feare taketh hold on my flesh.
7 “Why do the wicked live, ficar velho, sim, e crescer poderoso no poder?
Wherefore do the wicked liue, and waxe olde, and grow in wealth?
8 O filho deles é estabelecido com eles à sua vista, seus descendentes diante de seus olhos.
Their seede is established in their sight with them, and their generation before their eyes.
9 Suas casas estão a salvo do medo, nem a vara de Deus está sobre eles.
Their houses are peaceable without feare, and the rod of God is not vpon them.
10 Seus touros se reproduzem sem falhas. Suas vacas parem, e não abortam.
Their bullocke gendreth, and fayleth not: their cow calueth, and casteth not her calfe.
11 They enviam seus pequenos como um rebanho. Seus filhos dançam.
They send forth their children like sheepe, and their sonnes dance.
12 Eles cantam para o pandeiro e para a harpa, e regozijar-se com o som do tubo.
They take the tabret and harpe, and reioyce in the sound of the organs.
They spend their dayes in wealth, and suddenly they go downe to the graue. (Sheol h7585)
14 Eles dizem a Deus: 'Partir de nós', pois não queremos saber de seus caminhos.
They say also vnto God, Depart from vs: for we desire not the knowledge of thy wayes.
15 O que é o Todo-Poderoso, que devemos servi-lo? Que lucro devemos ter, se rezarmos a ele”?
Who is the Almightie, that we should serue him? and what profit should we haue, if we should pray vnto him?
16 Eis que sua prosperidade não está em suas mãos. O conselho dos ímpios está longe de mim.
Lo, their wealth is not in their hand: therfore let the counsell of the wicked bee farre from me.
17 “Com que freqüência a lâmpada dos malvados é apagada, que sua calamidade vem sobre eles, que Deus distribui tristezas em sua raiva?
How oft shall the candle of the wicked be put out? and their destruction come vpon them? he wil deuide their liues in his wrath.
18 How muitas vezes é que eles são como restolho diante do vento, como palha que a tempestade transporta?
They shall be as stubble before the winde, and as chaffe that the storme carieth away.
19 Você diz: “Deus estabelece sua iniqüidade para seus filhos”. Deixe-o recompensá-lo a si mesmo, para que ele possa saber disso.
God wil lay vp the sorowe of the father for his children: when he rewardeth him, hee shall knowe it.
20 Let seus próprios olhos vêem sua destruição. Deixe-o beber da ira do Todo-Poderoso.
His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drinke of the wrath of the Almightie.
21 Pelo que ele cuida de sua casa depois dele, quando o número de seus meses é cortado?
For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the nomber of his moneths is cut off?
22 “Qualquer um deve ensinar o conhecimento de Deus, já que ele julga aqueles que são altos?
Shall any teache God knowledge, who iudgeth the highest things?
23 Um morre em sua força total, estar totalmente à vontade e quieto.
One dyeth in his full strength, being in all ease and prosperitie.
24 Seus baldes estão cheios de leite. A medula de seus ossos é umedecida.
His breasts are full of milke, and his bones runne full of marowe.
25 Outro morre em amargura de alma, e nunca sabe ao bem.
And another dieth in the bitternes of his soule, and neuer eateth with pleasure.
26 Eles se deitam igualmente na poeira. A minhoca os cobre.
They shall sleepe both in the dust, and the wormes shall couer them.
27 “Eis, conheço seus pensamentos, os planos com os quais você me enganaria.
Behold, I know your thoughts, and the enterprises, wherewith ye do me wrong.
28 Para você diz: 'Onde fica a casa do príncipe? Onde está a tenda em que viviam os ímpios”?
For ye say, Where is the princes house? and where is the tabernacle of the wickeds dwelling?
29 Você já não perguntou aos homens de passagem? Você não conhece as evidências deles,
May ye not aske the that go by the way? and ye can not deny their signes.
30 que o homem mau está reservado para o dia da calamidade, que eles são levados para o dia da ira?
But the wicked is kept vnto the day of destruction, and they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
31 Quem irá declarar seu caminho até o rosto dele? Quem lhe retribuirá o que ele fez?
Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall reward him for that he hath done?
32 No entanto, ele será levado para a sepultura. Os homens ficarão de olho na tumba.
Yet shall he be brought to the graue, and remaine in the heape.
33 Os torrões do vale serão doces para ele. Todos os homens o seguirão, como havia inumeráveis antes dele.
The slimie valley shalbe sweete vnto him, and euery man shall draw after him, as before him there were innumerable.
34 So como você pode me consolar com tolices, porque em suas respostas só resta falsidade”...
How then comfort ye me in vaine, seeing in your answeres there remaine but lyes?
