Jeremias 37
1 Zedequias, filho de Josias, reinou como rei em vez de Conias, filho de Jeoiaquim, a quem Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, fez rei na terra de Judá.
And he reigned king Zedekiah [the] son of Josiah in place of Coniah [the] son of Jehoiakim whom he made king Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon in [the] land of Judah.
2 Mas nem ele, nem seus servos, nem o povo da terra escutaram as palavras de Javé, que ele falou pelo profeta Jeremias.
And not he listened he and servants his and [the] people of the land to [the] words of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of Jeremiah the prophet.
3 O rei Zedequias enviou Jehucal, filho de Selemias, e Sofonias, filho de Maaséias, o sacerdote, ao profeta Jeremias, dizendo: “Reza agora a Javé, nosso Deus, por nós”.
And he sent the king Zedekiah Jehucal [the] son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah [the] son of Maaseiah the priest to Jeremiah the prophet saying pray please for us to Yahweh God our.
4 Agora Jeremias entrou e saiu entre o povo, pois eles não o haviam colocado na prisão.
And Jeremiah [was] coming and [was] going out in among the people and not they had put him [the] house of (imprisonment. *Q(K)*)
5 O exército do Faraó tinha saído do Egito; e quando os caldeus que estavam sitiando Jerusalém ouviram notícias deles, eles se retiraram de Jerusalém.
And [the] army of Pharaoh it had come forth from Egypt and they had heard the Chaldeans who were laying siege on Jerusalem report their and they had taken themselves up from on Jerusalem.
6 Então veio a palavra de Javé ao profeta Jeremias, dizendo:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah the prophet saying.
7 “Javé, o Deus de Israel, diz: “Dirás ao rei de Judá, que te enviou a mim para me inquirir: “Eis que o exército do Faraó, que saiu para ajudá-lo, voltará para o Egito em sua própria terra”.
Thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel thus you will say to [the] king of Judah who sent you to me to consult me there! - [the] army of Pharaoh which was coming out to you to help [is] about to return to own land its Egypt.
8 Os caldeus virão novamente, e lutarão contra esta cidade. Eles a tomarão e a queimarão com fogo”.
And they will return the Chaldeans and they will fight on the city this and they will capture it and they will burn it with fire.
9 “Yahweh diz: 'Não se iludam, dizendo: “Os caldeus certamente irão partir de nós;” pois eles não irão partir.
Thus - he says Yahweh may not you deceive selves your saying certainly they will go from on us the Chaldeans for not they will go.
10 Pois embora vocês tivessem atingido todo o exército dos caldeus que lutam contra vocês, e só ficassem entre eles homens feridos, cada um deles se levantaria em sua tenda e queimaria esta cidade com fogo””.
That except you struck down all [the] army of [the] Chaldeans who are fighting with you and they survived among them men pierced through everyone in tent his they will arise and they will burn the city this with fire.
11 Quando o exército dos caldeus se retirou de Jerusalém por medo do exército do Faraó,
And it was when had taken itself up [the] army of the Chaldeans from on Jerusalem because of [the] army of Pharaoh.
12 então Jeremias saiu de Jerusalém para ir para a terra de Benjamim, para receber sua porção lá, no meio do povo.
And he went out Jeremiah from Jerusalem to go [the] land of Benjamin to receive a portion from there in among the people.
13 Quando ele estava no portão de Benjamim, estava lá um capitão da guarda, cujo nome era Irijah, o filho de Selemias, filho de Hananias; e ele agarrou Jeremias, o profeta, dizendo: “Você está desertando para os caldeus”!
And it was he [was] at [the] gate of Benjamin and [was] there a captain of [the] guard and name his [was] Irijah [the] son of Shelemiah [the] son of Hananiah and he arrested Jeremiah the prophet saying to the Chaldeans you [are] falling.
14 Então Jeremias disse: “Isso é falso! Eu não estou desertando para os caldeus”. Mas ele não o ouviu; então Irijah apreendeu Jeremias e o trouxe até os príncipes.
And he said Jeremiah a lie not I [am] falling on the Chaldeans and not he listened to him and he seized Irijah Jeremiah and he brought him to the officials.
15 Os príncipes ficaram zangados com Jeremias, e o golpearam, e o colocaram na prisão na casa de Jonathan, o escriba; pois eles tinham feito isso na prisão.
And they were angry the officials towards Jeremiah and they struck him and they put him [the] house of fetter[s] [the] house of Jonathan the scribe for it they had made into [the] house of imprisonment.
16 Quando Jeremias entrou na casa do calabouço e nas celas, e Jeremias ficou lá muitos dias,
For he went Jeremiah into [the] house of the cistern and into the cell and he remained there Jeremiah days many.
17 então Zedequias, o rei, enviou e mandou trazê-lo para fora. O rei perguntou-lhe secretamente em sua casa: “Há alguma palavra de Javé? Jeremiah disse: “Há”. Ele também disse: “Você será entregue na mão do rei da Babilônia”.
And he sent the king Zedekiah and he took him and he asked him the king in house his in secrecy and he said ¿ [is] there a word from with Yahweh and he said Jeremiah there is and he said in [the] hand of [the] king of Babylon you will be given.
18 Moreover Jeremias disse ao rei Zedequias: “Como pequei contra você, contra seus servos, ou contra este povo, que você me colocou na prisão?
And he said Jeremiah to the king Zedekiah what? have I sinned to you and to servants your and to the people this that you have put me into [the] house of imprisonment.
19 Agora, onde estão teus profetas que te profetizaram, dizendo: 'O rei da Babilônia não virá contra ti, nem contra esta terra?
(And where? *Q(K)*) [are] prophets your who they prophesied to you saying not he will come [the] king of Babylon on you and on the land this.
20 Agora, por favor, ouve, meu senhor, o rei: por favor, que minha súplica seja apresentada diante de ti, para que não me faças voltar à casa de Jonathan, o escriba, para que eu não morra lá”.
And therefore listen please O lord my the king may it fall please supplication my before you and may not you make go back me [the] house of Jonathan the scribe and not I will die there.
21 Então Zedequias, o rei, ordenou, e eles internaram Jeremias na corte da guarda. Davam-lhe diariamente um pão fora da rua dos padeiros, até que todo o pão da cidade tivesse desaparecido. Assim, Jeremias permaneceu na corte da guarda.
And he commanded the king Zedekiah and they deposited Jeremiah in [the] courtyard of the guard and they gave to him a round loaf of bread to the day from [the] street of the bakers until was finished all the bread from the city and he remained Jeremiah in [the] courtyard of the guard.
