Jeremias 28

1 Nesse mesmo ano, no início do reinado de Zedequias rei de Judá, no quarto ano, no quinto mês, Hananias, filho de Azzur, o profeta, que era de Gibeon, falou comigo na casa de Javé, na presença dos sacerdotes e de todo o povo, dizendo:

And that same yeere in the beginning of the reigne of Zedekiah King of Iudah in the fourth yeere, and in the fifth moneth Hananiah the sonne of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake to mee in the House of the Lord in the presence of the Priestes, and of all the people, and said,

2 “Javé dos Exércitos, o Deus de Israel, diz: 'quebrei o jugo do rei da Babilônia.

Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, saying, I haue broken the yoke of the King of Babel.

3 Dentro de dois anos completos, trarei novamente para este lugar todos os vasos da casa de Iavé que Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, tirou deste lugar e levou para a Babilônia.

Within two yeeres space I will bring into this place all the vessels of the Lords House, that Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel tooke away from this place, and caried them into Babel.

4 trarei novamente a este lugar Jeconias, filho de Jeoiaquim, rei de Judá, com todos os cativos de Judá, que foram para a Babilônia”, diz Javé; “pois quebrarei o jugo do rei da Babilônia”.

And I will bring againe to this place Ieconiah the sonne of Iehoiakim King of Iudah, with all them that were caried away captiue of Iudah, and went into Babel, saith the Lord: for I will breake the yoke of the King of Babel.

5 Então o profeta Jeremias disse ao profeta Hananias na presença dos sacerdotes, e na presença de todo o povo que estava na casa de Yahweh,

Then the Prophet Ieremiah saide vnto the Prophet Hananiah in the presence of ye Priests, and in the presence of all the people that stoode in the House of the Lord.

6 até o profeta Jeremias disse: “Amém! Que Yahweh o faça. Que Javé faça suas palavras que você profetizou, para trazer novamente os vasos da casa de Javé, e todos aqueles que são cativos, da Babilônia para este lugar.

Euen the Prophet Ieremiah sayde, So bee it: the Lord so doe, the Lord confirme thy words which thou hast prophecied to restore the vessels of the Lordes House, and al that is caried captiue, from Babel, into this place.

7 Não obstante, escutem agora esta palavra que falo aos vossos ouvidos, e aos ouvidos de todo o povo:

But heare thou now this worde that I will speake in thine eares and in the eares of all the people.

8 Os profetas que foram antes de mim e antes de vós de velhos profetizados contra muitos países, e contra grandes reinos, de guerra, de mal e de pestilência.

The Prophets that haue beene before mee and before thee in time past, prophecied against many countreyes, and against great kingdomes, of warre, and of plagues, and of pestilence.

9 Quanto ao profeta que profetiza a paz, quando a palavra do profeta acontecer, então o profeta será conhecido, que Iavé o enviou verdadeiramente”.

And the Prophet which prophecieth of peace, when the word of the Prophet shall come to passe, then shall the Prophet be knowen that the Lord hath truely sent him.

10 Então Hananiah, o profeta, tirou a barra do pescoço do profeta Jeremias, e a quebrou.

Then Hananiah the Prophet tooke the yoke from the Prophet Ieremiahs necke, and brake it.

11 Hananias falou na presença de todo o povo, dizendo: “Yahweh diz: 'Mesmo assim quebrarei o jugo de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, do pescoço de todas as nações, dentro de dois anos inteiros'”. Então o profeta Jeremias seguiu seu caminho.

And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Euen so will I breake the yoke of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel, from the necke of al nations within the space of two yeres: and the Prophet Ieremiah went his way.

12 Então a palavra de Javé veio a Jeremias, depois que Hananias o profeta havia quebrado a barra do pescoço do profeta Jeremias, dizendo:

Then the word of the Lord came vnto Ieremiah the Prophet, (after that Hananiah the Prophet had broken the yoke from the necke of the Prophet Ieremiah) saying,

13 “Vá, e diga a Hananias, dizendo: 'Javé diz: 'Você quebrou as barras de madeira, mas você fez em seu lugar barras de ferro'.

Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus sayth the Lord, Thou hast broken the yokes of wood, but thou shalt make for them yokes of yron.

14 Para Javé dos Exércitos, o Deus de Israel diz: “Coloquei um jugo de ferro no pescoço de todas estas nações, para que sirvam a Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia; e eles o servirão”. Eu também lhe dei os animais do campo”””.

For thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, I haue put a yoke of yron vpon the necke of all these nations, that they may serue Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel: for they shall serue him, and I haue giuen him the beasts of the fielde also.

15 Então o profeta Jeremias disse a Hananiah o profeta: “Escuta, Hananiah! Yahweh não o enviou, mas você faz este povo confiar numa mentira.

Then sayd the Prophet Ieremiah vnto the Prophet Hananiah, Heare nowe Hananiah, the Lord hath not sent thee, but thou makest this people to trust in a lye.

16 Portanto, Javé diz: “Eis que eu te mandarei para longe da superfície da terra”. Este ano você morrerá, porque falou de rebelião contra Javé”.

Therefore thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will cast thee from of the earth: this yeere thou shalt die, because thou hast spoken rebelliously against the Lord.

17 Então Hananiah, o profeta, morreu no mesmo ano no sétimo mês.

So Hananiah the Prophet died the same yeere in the seuenth moneth.
