Isaías 65
1 “Sou questionado por aqueles que não me perguntaram. Eu sou encontrado por aqueles que não me procuraram. Eu disse: 'Vejam-me, vejam-me', a uma nação que não foi chamada pelo meu nome.
I have bene sought of them that asked not: I was found of them that sought me not: I sayd, Beholde me, beholde me, vnto a nation that called not vpon my Name.
2 Eu estendi minhas mãos o dia todo para um povo rebelde, que caminham de uma maneira que não é boa, depois de seus próprios pensamentos;
I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:
3 um povo que me provoca na minha cara continuamente, sacrificando nos jardins, e queimando incenso sobre tijolos;
A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.
4 que se sentam entre as sepulturas, e passar as noites em lugares secretos; que comem carne de porco, e caldo de coisas abomináveis está em suas embarcações;
Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.
5 que dizem: 'Fique sozinho', não se aproximem de mim, pois sou mais santo do que você”. Isto é fumaça no meu nariz, um incêndio que queima o dia todo.
Which say, Stand apart, come not neere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath and a fire that burneth all the day.
6 “Eis que está escrito diante de mim: Não vou guardar silêncio, mas pagará, sim, eu retribuirei em seu seio
Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.
7 suas próprias iniquidades e as iniquidades de seus pais juntos”, diz Yahweh, “que queimaram incenso nas montanhas”, e me blasfemou nas colinas. Portanto, primeiro vou medir o trabalho deles em seu seio”.
Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers shalbe together (sayth the Lord) which haue burnt incense vpon the mountaines, and blasphemed me vpon the hilles: therefore wil I measure their olde worke into their bosome.
8 diz Yahweh, “Como o novo vinho é encontrado no cacho, e se diz: “Não o destrua, pois há uma bênção nisso: por isso farei por meus servos, que eu não possa destruí-los a todos.
Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.
9 Eu trarei descendentes de Jacob, e fora de Judá um herdeiro de minhas montanhas. Meu escolhido o herdará, e meus servos vão morar lá.
But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.
10 Sharon será uma dobra de rebanhos, e o vale de Achor um lugar para os rebanhos se deitarem, para o meu povo que me procurou.
And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.
11 “Mas você que abandona Yahweh, que esquecem minha montanha sagrada, que preparam uma mesa para a Fortuna, e que enchem de vinho misto ao Destiny;
But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.
12 Eu o destinarei à espada, e todos vocês se curvarão ao abate; porque quando eu liguei, você não atendeu. Quando eu falei, você não me escutou; mas você fez o que era mau aos meus olhos, e escolhi aquilo em que não me deleitei”.
Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.
13 Portanto, diz o Senhor Javé, “Eis que meus servos comerão”, mas você estará com fome; eis que meus criados beberão, mas você estará com sede. Eis que meus servos se regozijarão, mas você ficará desapontado.
Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my seruants shall eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shall drinke, and ye shall be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shall reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed.
14 Eis que meus servos cantarão para alegria do coração, mas você vai chorar de tristeza de coração, e lamentará a angústia de espírito.
Beholde, my seruants shall sing for ioye of heart, and ye shall crye for sorow of heart, and shall howle for vexation of minde.
15 Você deixará seu nome por uma maldição à minha escolha, e o Senhor Yahweh o matará. Ele chamará seus criados por outro nome,
And ye shall leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.
16 para que aquele que se abençoar na terra se abençoe no Deus da verdade; e aquele que jurar na terra jurará pelo Deus da verdade; porque os problemas anteriores são esquecidos, e porque eles estão escondidos dos meus olhos.
He that shall blesse in the earth, shall blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.
17 “Pois, eis que eu crio novos céus e uma nova terra; e as coisas anteriores não serão lembradas, nem vem à mente.
For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.
18 Mas fique feliz e alegre-se para sempre com aquilo que eu crio; pois, eis que eu crio Jerusalém para ser um deleite, e seu povo uma alegria.
But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,
19 Eu me regozijarei em Jerusalém, e deleitar-me com o meu povo; e a voz do choro e a voz do choro não será mais ouvida nela.
And I wil reioyce in Ierusalem, and ioye in my people, and the voyce of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voyce of crying.
20 “Não haverá mais uma criança que vive apenas alguns dias, nem um homem velho que não tenha preenchido seus dias; para a criança morrerá aos cem anos de idade, e o pecador, com cem anos de idade, será amaldiçoado.
There shall be no more there a childe of yeeres, nor an olde man that hath not filled his dayes: for he that shall be an hundreth yeeres old, shall dye as a yong man: but the sinner being an hundreth yeeres olde shall be accursed.
21 Eles construirão casas e as habitarão. Eles plantarão vinhedos e comerão seus frutos.
And they shall build houses and inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eate the fruite of them.
22 Eles não construirão e outro habitará. Eles não plantarão e outro comerá; para os dias do meu povo serão como os dias de uma árvore, e meus escolhidos vão apreciar por muito tempo o trabalho de suas mãos.
They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.
23 Eles não trabalharão em vão nem dão à luz por calamidade; pois eles são a progênie dos abençoados Yahweh e seus descendentes com eles.
They shall not labour in vaine, nor bring forth in feare: for they are the seede of the blessed of the Lord, and their buds with them.
24 Acontecerá que antes de telefonarem, eu responderei; e enquanto eles ainda estiverem falando, eu vou ouvir.
Yea, before they call, I will answere, and whiles they speake, I will heare.
25 O lobo e o cordeiro se alimentarão juntos. O leão vai comer palha como o boi. A poeira será o alimento da serpente. Eles não machucarão nem destruirão em toda a minha montanha sagrada”. diz Yahweh.
The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.
