Isaías 62

1 Pelo bem de Zion, não vou me calar, e para o bem de Jerusalém não descansarei, até que sua retidão resplandeça como o amanhecer, e sua salvação como uma lâmpada em chamas.

For the sake of Zion will I not be silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem will I not be quiet; until its righteousness go forth as the brightness [of light], and its salvation as a burning torch.

2 As nações verão sua retidão, e todos os reis sua glória. Você será chamado por um novo nome, que a boca de Yahweh vai citar.

And nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory; and men shall call thee by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall pronounce.

3 Você também será uma coroa de beleza na mão de Yahweh, e um diadema real na mão de seu Deus.

And thou shalt be a crown of ornament in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 Você não será mais chamado de Forsaken, nem sua terra será mais chamada de Desolada; mas você será chamado de Hephzibah, e sua terra Beulah; para Yahweh se deleita em você, e sua terra será casada.

Thou shalt not be termed any more “Forsaken,” and thy land shall not be termed any more “Desolate;” for thou shalt be called “My delight in her” [[Chephzi-bah]], and thy land “Espoused” [[Be'ulah]]; for the Lord will have delight in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.

5 Pois quando jovem, casa-se com uma virgem, para que seus filhos se casem com você. Como um noivo se alegra com sua noiva, para que seu Deus se regozije por você.

For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom is glad over the bride, so will be glad over thee thy God.

6 Coloquei guardas em seus muros, Jerusalém. Eles nunca ficarão em silêncio dia ou noite. Vocês que invocam Yahweh, não descansem,

Over thy walls, O Jerusalem, have I appointed watchmen, all the day and all the night, continually, shall they not be silent: ye that make mention of the Lord, take ye no rest.

7 e não lhe dar descanso até que ele se estabeleça, e até que ele faça de Jerusalém um louvor na terra.

And give him no rest, until he have established, and until he have set up Jerusalem as a praise on the earth.

8 Yahweh jurou por sua mão direita, e pelo braço de sua força, “Certamente não darei mais seus grãos para serem alimento para seus inimigos, e os estrangeiros não beberão seu novo vinho, para o qual você trabalhou,

Sworn hath the Lord by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, I will not give thy corn any more as food for thy enemies, and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy young wine for which thou hast labored;

9 mas aqueles que a colheram vão comê-la, e elogiar Yahweh. Aqueles que o recolheram o beberão nos tribunais do meu santuário”.

But they who gather it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they who bring it together shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.

10 Atravesse, atravesse os portões! Prepare o caminho do povo! Construa, construa a rodovia! Junte as pedras! Levantar uma bandeira para os povos.

Pass, pass through the gates, make clear the way of the people, cast up, cast up the highway, remove away the stones, lift up a banner over the nations.

11 Eis que Yahweh proclamou até o fim do mundo: “Diga à filha de Zion, “Eis que vem a sua salvação! Eis que sua recompensa está com ele, e sua recompensa diante dele””.

Behold, the Lord hath caused to be heard unto the ends of the earth, “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.”

12 Eles os chamarão de “O Povo Santo”, Yahweh's Redeemed”. Você será chamado de “Sought Out”, Uma cidade não abandonada”.

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord; and thou shalt be called, Sought for, [[Derusha, ]] The city never forsaken.
