Isaías 61
1 O Espírito do Senhor Yahweh está em mim, porque Yahweh me ungiu para pregar boas notícias aos humildes. Ele me enviou para amarrar o coração partido, para proclamar a liberdade aos cativos e liberação para aqueles que estão vinculados,
The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to bring good tidings unto the humble; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to them that are bound;
2 para proclamar o ano do favor de Yahweh e o dia da vingança de nosso Deus, para confortar a todos que choram,
To proclaim the year of the LORD'S good pleasure, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 para atender àqueles que choram em Zion, para dar a eles uma grinalda para cinzas, o óleo da alegria para o luto, a veste de louvor pelo espírito do peso, que podem ser chamadas de árvores da retidão, o plantio de Yahweh, que ele possa ser glorificado.
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the mantle of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called terebinths of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, wherein He might glory.
4 They irá reconstruir as velhas ruínas. Eles irão erguer os antigos lugares devastados. Eles irão reparar as cidades arruinadas que têm sido devastadas por muitas gerações.
And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall renew the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 Os estranhos ficarão de pé e alimentarão seus rebanhos. Os estrangeiros trabalharão seus campos e seus vinhedos.
And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and aliens shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 Mas vocês serão chamados de sacerdotes de Yahweh. Os homens lhe chamarão de servos de nosso Deus. Você vai comer a riqueza das nações. Você se orgulhará de sua glória.
But ye shall be named the priests of the LORD, men shall call you the ministers of our God; ye shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their splendour shall ye revel.
7 Em vez de sua vergonha, você terá o dobro. Em vez de desonrar, eles se regozijarão com sua porção. Portanto, em suas terras eles possuirão o dobro. A alegria eterna será para eles.
For your shame which was double, and for that they rejoiced: 'Confusion is their portion'; therefore in their land they shall possess double, everlasting joy shall be unto them.
8 “Para mim, Yahweh, amo a justiça. Odeio roubo e iniqüidade. Eu lhes darei sua recompensa em verdade e eu farei com eles um pacto eterno.
For I the LORD love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Sua descendência será conhecida entre as nações, e sua descendência entre os povos. Todos os que os vêem os reconhecerão, que eles são a progênie que Yahweh abençoou”.
And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
10 Eu me regozijarei muito em Yahweh! Minha alma estará alegre em meu Deus, pois ele me vestiu com as vestes da salvação. Ele me cobriu com o manto da retidão, como um convés de noivo com uma grinalda e como uma noiva se enfeita com suas jóias.
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of victory, as a bridegroom putteth on a priestly diadem, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11 Pois enquanto a terra produz seu rebento, e como o jardim faz brotar as coisas que nele são semeadas, Assim, o Senhor Javé fará brotar a justiça e o louvor diante de todas as nações.
For as the earth bringeth forth her growth, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause victory and glory to spring forth before all the nations.
