Isaías 55
1 “Hey! Venham, todos os que têm sede, para as águas! Venha, aquele que não tem dinheiro, compre e coma! Sim, venha, compre vinho e leite sem dinheiro e sem preço.
All you that thirst, come to the waters: and you that have no money make haste, buy, and eat: come ye, buy wine and milk without money, and without any price.
2 Por que você gasta dinheiro para aquilo que não é pão? e seu trabalho para aquilo que não satisfaz? Ouça-me com atenção e coma o que é bom, e deixe sua alma se deliciar com a riqueza.
Why do you spend money for that which is not breed, and your labour for that which doth not satisfy you? Hearken diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and your soul shall be delighted in fatness.
3 Vire seu ouvido, e venha até mim. Ouça, e sua alma viverá. Farei um pacto eterno com vocês, mesmo as misericórdias certas de David.
Incline your ear and come to me: hear and your soul shall lire, and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the faithful mercies of David.
4 Eis que o dei como testemunha para os povos, um líder e comandante para os povos.
Behold I have given him for a witness to the people, for a leader and a master to the Gentiles.
5 Eis que você deve chamar uma nação que você não conhece; e uma nação que não sabia que você correria para você, por causa de Yahweh, seu Deus, e para o Santo de Israel; pois ele te glorificou”.
Behold thou shalt call a nation, which thou knewest not: and the nations that knew not thee shall run to thee, because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, for he hath glorified thee.
6 Procure Yahweh enquanto ele pode ser encontrado. Chame-o enquanto ele estiver por perto.
Seek ye the Lord, while he may be found: call upon him, while he is near.
7 Let o malvado abandona seu caminho, e o homem iníquo seus pensamentos. Deixe-o voltar para Yahweh, e ele terá piedade dele, a nosso Deus, pois ele perdoará livremente.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unjust man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God: for he is bountiful to forgive.
8 “Pois meus pensamentos não são os seus pensamentos, e seus caminhos não são os meus”, diz Yahweh.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts: nor your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 “Pois como os céus são mais altos do que a terra, Assim, meus caminhos são mais altos do que os seus, e meus pensamentos do que seus pensamentos.
For as the heavens are exalted above the earth, so are my ways exalted above your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts.
10 Pois quando a chuva cai e a neve vem do céu, e não volta lá, mas rega a terra, e a faz crescer e brotar, e dá semente para o semeador e pão para o comedor;
And as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return no more thither, but soak the earth, and water it, and make it to spring, and give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 assim é a minha palavra que sai da minha boca: não voltará para mim nula, mas realizará o que eu quiser, e vai prosperar naquilo que eu o enviei para fazer.
So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.
12 Para você, saia com alegria, e ser conduzido com paz. As montanhas e as colinas se abrirão diante de você para cantar; e todas as árvores dos campos baterão palmas.
For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall sing praise before yen, and all the trees of the country shall clap their hands.
13 Em vez do espinho, o cipreste surgirá; e, em vez do brier, a murta surgirá. Ele fará um nome para Yahweh, por um sinal eterno que não será cortado”.
Instead of the shrub, shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the nettle, shall come up the myrtle tree: and the Lord shall be named for an everlasting sign, that shall not be taken away.
