Isaías 51
1 “Ouçam-me, vocês que seguem a retidão, você que procura Yahweh. Olhe para a rocha de onde você foi cortado, e para a pedreira de onde você foi escavado.
Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look to the rock [whence] ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit [whence] ye are digged.
2 Olhe para Abraham, seu pai, e a Sarah, que o aborreceu; para quando ele era apenas um, eu o chamei, Eu o abençoei, e fez dele muitos.
Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah [that] bore you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
3 Pois Yahweh tem confortado Zion. Ele tem confortado todos os seus lugares de desperdício, e fez dela um lugar selvagem como o Éden, e seu deserto como o jardim de Yahweh. Alegria e alegria serão encontradas neles, ação de graças, e a voz da melodia.
For the LORD will comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4 “Ouçam-me, meu povo; e me ouçam, minha nação, por uma lei sairá de mim, e estabelecerei minha justiça por uma luz para os povos.
Hearken to me, my people; and give ear to me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
5 Minha retidão está próxima. Minha salvação se apagou, e meus braços irão julgar os povos. As ilhas me aguardarão, e eles vão confiar em meu braço.
My righteousness [is] near; my salvation is gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on my arm shall they trust.
6 Levantem seus olhos para o céu, e olhe para a terra por baixo; pois os céus desaparecerão como fumaça, e a terra vai se desgastar como uma peça de vestuário. Seus habitantes morrerão da mesma forma, mas minha salvação será para sempre, e minha retidão não será abolida.
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall become old like a garment, and its inhabitants shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
7 “Ouçam-me, vocês que conhecem a retidão, as pessoas em cujo coração está minha lei. Não tenha medo da reprovação dos homens, e não fiquem consternados com seus insultos.
Hearken to me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart [is] my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
8 Pois a traça vai comê-los como uma peça de vestuário, e a minhoca os comerá como lã; mas minha retidão será para sempre, e minha salvação para todas as gerações”.
For the moth shall eat them like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
9 Desperta, desperta, coloca força, braço de Yahweh! Desperta, como nos velhos tempos, as gerações dos tempos antigos. Não foi você quem cortou a Rahab em pedaços? quem furou o monstro?
Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. [Art] thou not that which hath cut Rahab, [and] wounded the dragon?
10 Não foi você quem secou o mar, as águas das grandes profundezas; quem fez das profundezas do mar uma forma de passar os redimidos?
[Art] thou not that which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
11 Os resgatados por Iavé voltarão, e vêm com cânticos para Zion. A alegria eterna estará em suas cabeças. Eles obterão alegria e alegria. A dor e o suspiro devem fugir.
Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy [shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
12 “Eu, até mesmo eu, sou aquele que vos conforta. Quem é você, que tem medo do homem que deve morrer, e do filho do homem que será feito de grama?
I, [even] I, [am] he that comforteth you: who [art] thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man [that] shall die, and of the son of man [who] shall be made [as] grass;
13 Você esqueceu Yahweh, seu Criador, que estendia os céus, e lançou os alicerces da terra? Você vive com medo continuamente o dia todo por causa da fúria do opressor, quando ele se prepara para destruir? Onde está a fúria do opressor?
And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where [is] the fury of the oppressor?
14 O exílio cativo será rapidamente libertado. Ele não morrerá e descerá para o poço. Seu pão não falhará.
The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
15 Pois eu sou Yahweh, vosso Deus, que agita o mar para que suas ondas rugam. Yahweh dos Exércitos é seu nome.
But I [am] the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts [is] his name.
16 Coloquei minhas palavras em sua boca e o cobri na sombra da minha mão, que eu possa plantar os céus, e lançar os alicerces da terra, e dizer a Zion, 'Vocês são meu povo'”.
And I have put my words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shade of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, Thou [art] my people.
17 Despertai, despertai! Levante-se, Jerusalém, você que bebeu da mão de Yahweh o cálice de sua ira. Você bebeu a taça do copo de cambaleio, e o drenou.
Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drank at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drank the dregs of the cup of trembling, [and] wrung [them] out.
18 Não há ninguém que a guie entre todos os filhos aos quais ela deu à luz; e não há ninguém que a pegue pela mão entre todos os filhos que ela educou.
[There is] none to guide her among all the sons [whom] she hath brought forth; neither [is there any] that taketh her by the hand of all the sons [that] she hath brought up.
19 Estas duas coisas aconteceram com você... quem vai sofrer com você... desolação e destruição, e a fome e a espada. Como posso confortá-lo?
These two [things] have come to thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
20 Seus filhos desmaiaram. Eles estão à frente de todas as ruas, como um antílope em uma rede. Eles estão cheios da ira de Yahweh, a repreensão de seu Deus.
Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.
21 Portanto, agora ouçam isto, vocês afligiram, e embriagado, mas não com vinho:
Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
22 Vossa Senhoria Yahweh, seu Deus que pleiteia a causa de seu povo, diz, “Eis que eu tirei de sua mão o cálice do cambaleio”, até mesmo a taça da taça da minha ira. Você não vai beber mais.
Thus saith thy Lord Jehovah, and thy God [that] pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thy hand the cup of trembling, [even] the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:
23 Vou colocá-lo na mão daqueles que o afligem, que disseram à sua alma: “Curve-se, para que possamos caminhar sobre você; e você se deitou de costas como o chão, como uma rua para aqueles que passam por cima”.
But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; who have said to thy soul, Prostrate thyself, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
