Isaías 30
1 “Ai das crianças rebeldes”, diz Javé, “que tomam conselho, mas não de mim; e que fazem uma aliança, mas não com meu Espírito, para acrescentar pecado ao pecado;
Wo to the rebellious children, sayth the Lord, that take counsell, but not of me, and couer with a couering, but not by my spirit, that they may lay sinne vpon sinne:
2 que se propôs a descer ao Egito sem pedir meu conselho, a se fortalecer na força do Faraó, e a se refugiar na sombra do Egito!
Which walke forth to goe downe into Egypt (and haue not asked at my mouth) to strengthen them selues with the strength of Pharaoh, and trust in the shadowe of Egypt.
3 Portanto, a força do Faraó será sua vergonha, e o refúgio à sombra do Egito, sua confusão.
But the strength of Pharaoh shalbe your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
4 Pois seus príncipes estão em Zoan, e seus embaixadores vieram a Hanes.
For his princes were at Zoan, and his Ambassadours came vnto Hanes.
5 Todos eles terão vergonha por causa de um povo que não pode lucrar com eles, que não são uma ajuda nem um lucro, mas uma vergonha e também uma reprovação”.
They shalbe all ashamed of the people that cannot profite them, nor helpe nor doe them good, but shalbe a shame and also a reproche.
6 O fardo dos animais do Sul. Através da terra de problemas e angústias, da leoa e do leão, da víbora e da serpente voadora ardente, eles carregam suas riquezas sobre os ombros de burros jovens, e seus tesouros sobre as lombadas de camelos, para um povo não lucrativo.
The burden of the beasts of the South, in a land of trouble and anguish, from whence shall come the yong and olde lyon, the viper and fierie flying serpent against them that shall beare their riches vpon the shoulders of the coltes, and their treasures vpon the bounches of the camels, to a people that cannot profite.
7 Pois o Egito ajuda em vão, e sem nenhum propósito; por isso a chamei de Rahab que fica quieta.
For the Egyptians are vanitie, and they shall helpe in vaine. Therefore haue I cried vnto her, Their strength is to sit still.
8 Agora vá, escreva-o diante deles em uma tábua, e inscreva-o em um livro, para que possa ser para sempre e eternamente.
Now go, and write it before them in a table, and note it in a booke that it may be for the last day for euer and euer:
9 Pois é um povo rebelde, crianças mentirosas, crianças que não ouvirão a lei de Javé;
That it is a rebellious people, lying children, and children that would not heare the law of the Lord.
10 que dizem aos videntes: “Não vejam!” e aos profetas: “Não nos profetizem coisas corretas”. Diga-nos coisas agradáveis. Profetizem enganos.
Which say vnto the Seers, See not: and to the Prophets, Prophecie not vnto vs right things: but speake flattering things vnto vs: prophecie errours.
11 Saiam do caminho. Saiam do caminho. Porque o Santo de Israel deve cessar de nos preceder”.
Depart out of the way: go aside out of the path: cause the holy one of Israel to cease from vs.
12 Portanto, o Santo de Israel diz: “Porque você despreza esta palavra, e confia na opressão e perversidade, e confia nela,
Therefoe thus saith the holy one of Israel, Because you haue cast off this worde, and trust in violence, and wickednes, and stay thereupon,
13 portanto esta iniquidade será para você como uma brecha pronta para cair, inchando em um muro alto, cuja quebra vem repentinamente em um instante.
Therefore this iniquitie shalbe vnto you as a breach that falleth, or a swelling in an hie wall, whose breaking commeth suddenly in a moment.
14 Ele a quebrará como se quebra um vaso de oleiro, quebrando-o em pedaços sem poupar, para que não se encontre entre os pedaços quebrados um pedaço suficientemente bom para tirar o fogo da lareira, ou para mergulhar água da cisterna”.
And the breaking thereof is like the breaking of a potters pot, which is broken without pitie, and in the breaking thereof is not found a sheard to take fire out of the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.
15 Pois assim disse o Senhor Javé, o Santo de Israel: “Você será salvo ao voltar e descansar”. Vossa força estará em silêncio e em confiança”. Você recusou,
For thus sayd the Lord God, the Holy one of Israel, In rest and quietnes shall ye be saued: in quietnes and in confidence shall be your strength, but ye would not.
16 mas disse: “Não, pois fugiremos a cavalo;” portanto você fugirá; e, “cavalgaremos no veloz;” portanto aqueles que o perseguem serão velozes.
For ye haue sayd, No, but we wil flee away vpon horses. Therefore shall ye flee. We will ride vpon the swiftest. Therefore shall your persecuters be swifter.
17 Mil fugirão com a ameaça de um. Com a ameaça de cinco, vocês fugirão até ficarem como um farol no topo de uma montanha, e como um estandarte em uma colina.
A thousand as one shall flee at the rebuke of one: at the rebuke of fiue shall ye flee, till ye be left as a ship maste vpon the top of a mountaine, and as a beaken vpon an hill.
18 Portanto Yahweh esperará, para que seja gracioso para convosco; e por isso será exaltado, para que tenha misericórdia de vós, pois Yahweh é um Deus de justiça. Abençoados sejam todos aqueles que esperam por ele.
Yet therefore will the Lord waite, that he may haue mercy vpon you, and therefore wil he be exalted, that hee may haue compassion vpon you: for the Lord is the God of iudgement. Blessed are all they that waite for him.
19 Pois o povo habitará em Sião, em Jerusalém. Não choreis mais. Ele certamente será gracioso convosco à voz de vosso grito. Quando ele vos ouvir, ele vos responderá.
Surely a people shall dwell in Zion, and in Ierusalem: thou shalt weepe no more: he wil certainly haue mercy vpon thee at the voyce of thy crye: when he heareth thee, he wil answere thee.
20 Though o Senhor pode lhe dar o pão da adversidade e a água da aflição, mas seus professores não mais se esconderão, mas seus olhos verão seus professores;
And when the Lord hath giuen you the bread of aduersitie, and the water of affliction, thy raine shalbe no more kept backe, but thine eyes shall see thy raine.
21 e quando você se vira para a direita, e quando você se vira para a esquerda, seus ouvidos ouvirão uma voz atrás de você, dizendo: “Este é o caminho”. Caminhe por ela”.
And thine eares shall heare a worde behind thee, saying, This is the way, walke ye in it, when thou turnest to the right hand, and when thou turnest to the left.
22 Você profanará a sobreposição de suas imagens gravadas de prata, e o revestimento de suas imagens fundidas de ouro. Você as jogará fora como uma coisa impura. Você dirá: “Vá embora!”.
And ye shall pollute the couering of the images of siluer, and the riche ornament of thine images of golde, and cast them away as a menstruous cloth, and thou shalt say vnto it, Get thee hence.
23 Ele dará a chuva para sua semente, com a qual você semeará a terra; e o pão do aumento da terra será rico e abundante. Naquele dia, seu gado se alimentará em grandes pastagens.
Then shall hee giue raine vnto thy seede, when thou shalt sowe the ground, and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shalbe fat and as oyle: in that day shall thy cattell be fed in large pastures.
24 Os bois também e os burros jovens que até o solo comerão ração saborosa, que foi limpa com a pá e com o garfo.
The oxen also and the yong asses, that till the ground, shall eate cleane prouender, which is winowed with the shoouel and with the fanne.
25 Haverá riachos e riachos de água em cada montanha alta e em cada colina alta no dia do grande massacre, quando as torres caírem.
And vpon euery hie mountaine, and vpon euery hie hill shall there be riuers and streames of waters, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers shall fall.
26 Além disso, a luz da lua será como a luz do sol, e a luz do sol será sete vezes mais brilhante, como a luz de sete dias, no dia em que Yahweh ligar a fratura de seu povo, e curar a ferida com que foram atingidos.
Moreouer, the light of the moone shall be as the light of the sunne, and the light of the sunne shalbe seuen folde, and like the light of seuen dayes in the day that the Lord shall binde vp the breach of his people, and heale the stroke of their wound.
27 Eis que o nome de Yahweh vem de longe, queimando com sua raiva, e em espessa fumaça crescente. Seus lábios estão cheios de indignação. Sua língua é como um fogo devorador.
Beholde, the Name of the Lord commeth from farre, his face is burning, and the burden thereof is heauy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is as a deuouring fire.
28 Sua respiração é como uma corrente transbordante que chega até o pescoço, para peneirar as nações com a peneira de destruição. Uma cabeçada que leva à ruína estará nas mandíbulas dos povos.
And his spirit is as a riuer that ouerfloweth vp to the necke: it deuideth asunder, to fanne the nations with the fanne of vanitie, and there shall be a bridle to cause them to erre in the chawes of the people.
29 Você terá uma canção, como na noite em que se celebra uma festa santa, e alegria de coração, como quando se vai com uma flauta para chegar à montanha de Yahweh, ao Rochedo de Israel.
But there shall be a song vnto you as in the night, when solemne feast is kept: and gladnes of heart, as he that commeth with a pipe to goe vnto the mount of the Lord, to the mightie one of Israel.
30 Javé fará ouvir sua gloriosa voz, e mostrará a descida de seu braço, com a indignação de sua raiva e a chama de um fogo devorador, com uma rajada, tempestade e granizo.
And the Lord shall cause his glorious voyce to be heard, and shall declare the lighting downe of his arme with the anger of his countenance, and flame of a deuouring fire, with scattering and tempest, and hailestones.
31 Pois através da voz de Iavé, o assírio ficará consternado. Ele o atacará com sua vara.
For with the voyce of the Lord shall Asshur be destroyed, which smote with the rod.
32 Cada golpe da vara de punição, que Yahweh colocará sobre ele, será com o som de tamborins e harpas. Ele lutará com eles em batalhas, brandindo armas.
And in euery place that ye staffe shall passe, it shall cleaue fast, which the Lord shall lay vpon him with tabrets and harpes: and with battels, and lifting vp of hands shall he fight against it.
33 Pois seu lugar ardente já está há muito tempo pronto. Sim, ele está preparado para o rei. Ele fez sua pira profunda e grande com fogo e muita lenha. O hálito de Javé, como um fluxo de enxofre, acalma-o.
For Tophet is prepared of olde: it is euen prepared for the King: hee hath made it deepe and large: the burning thereof is fire and much wood: the breath of the Lord, like a riuer of brimstone, doeth kindle it.
