Isaías 27
1 Naquele dia, Javé com sua dura e grande e forte espada punirá o leviatã, a serpente em fuga, e o leviatã, a serpente retorcida; e matará o dragão que está no mar.
In that day lay a charge doth Jehovah, With his sword — the sharp, and the great, and the strong, On leviathan — a fleeing serpent, And on leviathan — a crooked serpent, And He hath slain the dragon that [is] in the sea.
2 Naquele dia, cante para ela: “Um vinhedo agradável!
In that day, 'A desirable vineyard,' respond ye to her,
3 Eu, Yahweh, sou seu guardião. Vou regá-la a cada momento. Para que ninguém a danifique, eu a manterei noite e dia.
I, Jehovah, am its keeper, every moment I water it, Lest any lay a charge against it, Night and day I keep it!
4 A ira não está em mim, mas se eu encontrasse sarças e espinhos, eu faria batalha! Eu marcharia sobre eles e os queimaria juntos.
Fury is not in Me; Who giveth Me a brier — a thorn in battle? I step into it, I burn it at once.
5 Ou então, deixe-o tomar posse de minhas forças, para que ele possa fazer as pazes comigo. Deixem-no fazer as pazes comigo”.
Or — he doth take hold on My strength, He doth make peace with Me, Peace he doth make with Me.
6 Nos próximos dias, Jacob criará raízes. Israel florescerá e florescerá. Eles encherão a superfície do mundo de frutos.
Those coming in He causeth to take root, Jacob doth blossom, and flourished hath Israel, And they have filled the face of the world [with] increase.
7 Será que ele os atingiu como atingiu aqueles que os atingiram? Ou eles são mortos como aqueles que os mataram foram mortos?
As the smiting of his smiter hath He smitten him? As the slaying of his slain doth He slay?
8 Na medida do possível, quando você os manda embora, você se contenta com eles. Ele os removeu com sua dura rajada no dia do vento leste.
In measure, in sending it forth, thou strivest with it, He hath taken away by His sharp wind, In the day of an east wind,
9 Portanto, com isto a iniquidade de Jacó será perdoada, e isto é tudo fruto da remoção de seu pecado: que ele faça todas as pedras do altar como pedras de giz, que são batidas em pedaços, para que os bastões de cinza e os altares de incenso não se levantem mais.
Therefore by this is the iniquity of Jacob covered, And this [is] all the fruit — To take away his sin, in His setting all the stones of an altar, As chalkstones beaten in pieces, They rise not — shrines and images.
10 Pois a cidade fortificada é solitária, uma habitação abandonada e abandonada, como o deserto. O bezerro se alimentará ali, e ali se deitará, e consumirá seus galhos.
For the fenced city [is] alone, A habitation cast out and forsaken as a wilderness, There doth the calf delight, And there it lieth down, And hath consumed its branches.
11 Quando seus ramos murcharem, eles serão quebrados. As mulheres virão e os incendiarão, pois são um povo sem entendimento. Portanto, aquele que as fez não terá compaixão delas, e aquele que as formou não lhes mostrará nenhum favor.
In the withering of its branch it is broken off, Women are coming in setting it on fire, For it [is] not a people of understanding, Therefore pity it not doth its Maker, And its Former doth not favour it.
12 Acontecerá naquele dia que Javé debulhará do riacho do Eufrates até o riacho do Egito; e vocês serão reunidos um a um, filhos de Israel.
And it hath come to pass, in that day, Beat out doth Jehovah from the branch of the river, Unto the stream of Egypt, And ye are gathered one by one, O sons of Israel.
13 Acontecerá naquele dia que uma grande trombeta será tocada; e aqueles que estavam prontos para perecer na terra da Assíria, e aqueles que eram proscritos na terra do Egito, virão; e adorarão a Javé na montanha santa de Jerusalém.
And it hath come to pass, in that day, It is blown with a great trumpet, And come in have those perishing in the land of Asshur, And those cast out in the land of Egypt, And have bowed themselves to Jehovah, In the holy mount — in Jerusalem!
