Isaías 11
1 Uma filmagem sairá do estoque da Jesse, e um ramo fora de suas raízes dará frutos.
And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit:
2 O Espírito de Yahweh descansará sobre ele: o espírito de sabedoria e compreensão, o espírito de conselho e poder, o espírito do conhecimento e do medo de Yahweh.
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 Seu deleite será o medo de Yahweh. Ele não vai julgar pela visão de seus olhos, nem decidir pela audição de seus ouvidos;
And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 mas ele julgará os pobres com retidão, e decidir com equidade para os humildes da terra. Ele atingirá a terra com a haste de sua boca; e com o sopro de seus lábios ele matará os ímpios.
but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 A justiça será o cinto ao redor de sua cintura, e a fidelidade do cinto em torno de sua cintura.
And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 O lobo vai viver com o cordeiro, e o leopardo se deitará com o cabrito, o bezerro, o leão jovem, e o bezerro engordado juntos; e uma criança pequena os conduzirá.
And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 A vaca e o urso pastarão. Seus jovens se deitarão juntos. O leão vai comer palha como o boi.
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 A criança lactante brincará perto do buraco de uma cobra, e a criança desmamada colocará sua mão na cova da víbora.
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the basilisk’s den.
9 Eles não vão ferir nem destruir em toda a minha montanha sagrada; pois a Terra estará cheia do conhecimento de Yahweh, já que as águas cobrem o mar.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
10 Acontecerá nesse dia que as nações buscarão a raiz de Jessé, que se ergue como bandeira dos povos; e seu lugar de descanso será glorioso.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, which standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting place shall be glorious.
11 Acontecerá nesse dia que o Senhor colocará sua mão novamente na segunda vez para recuperar o que resta de seu povo da Assíria, do Egito, de Pathros, de Cush, de Elam, de Shinar, de Hamath, e das ilhas do mar.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall remain, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 Ele levantará uma bandeira para as nações, reunirá os párias de Israel e reunirá os dispersos de Judá dos quatro cantos da terra.
And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13 A inveja também de Efraim partirá, e aqueles que perseguem Judá serão cortados. Efraim não invejará Judá, e Judá não perseguirá Efraim.
The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and they that vex Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
14 Eles voarão sobre os ombros dos filisteus do oeste. Juntos eles saquearão as crianças do leste. Eles estenderão seu poder sobre Edom e Moab, e as crianças de Ammon obedecerão a eles.
And they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines on the west; together shall they spoil the children of the east: they shall put forth their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
15 Yahweh destruirá totalmente a língua do mar egípcio; e com seu vento abrasador, agitará sua mão sobre o rio, dividindo-o em sete riachos, e fará com que os homens marchem em sandálias.
And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind shall he shake his hand over the River, and shall smite it into seven streams, and cause men to march over dryshod.
16 Haverá uma rodovia para o remanescente que resta de seu povo da Assíria, como havia para Israel no dia em que ele saiu da terra do Egito.
And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall remain, from Assyria; like as there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
