Oséias 6
1 “Venha! Vamos voltar para Yahweh; pois ele nos desfez em pedaços, e ele vai nos curar; ele nos feriu, e ele vai ligar nossas feridas.
“Come, and let us return unto the Lord; for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind up our wounds.
2 Após dois dias, ele nos reanimará. No terceiro dia, ele nos levantará, e viveremos diante dele.
He will revive us after two days: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his presence.
3 Let reconhece Yahweh. Vamos continuar a conhecer Yahweh. Tão certo quanto o sol nasce, Yahweh aparecerá. Ele virá até nós como a chuva, como a chuva da primavera que rega a terra”.
And let us feel it, that we may strive to know the Lord; bright as the morning-dawn is his rising; and he will come as the rain unto us, as the latter rain that maketh fruitful the earth.”
4 “Ephraim, o que devo fazer com você? Judah, o que devo fazer com você? Pois seu amor é como uma nuvem matinal, e como o orvalho que desaparece cedo.
What shall I do unto thee, O Ephraim? what shall I do unto thee, O Judah? for your piety is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away.
5 Portanto, eu os cortei em pedaços com os profetas; Eu os matei com as palavras da minha boca. Seus julgamentos são como um relâmpago.
Therefore did I hew [them] down by means of the prophets; I slew them by the words of my mouth: and thy punishments go forth like the light.
6 Pois eu desejo misericórdia e não sacrifício; e o conhecimento de Deus mais do que holocaustos.
For piety I desired, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God, more than burnt-offerings.
7 Mas eles, como Adam, quebraram o pacto. Eles foram infiéis a mim lá.
But they, like an ordinary man, have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8 Gilead é uma cidade daqueles que trabalham com iniqüidade; está manchado de sangue.
Gil'ad is become a city of workers of wickedness, is full of traces of blood.
9 Enquanto gangues de ladrões esperam para emboscar um homem, assim, a empresa de sacerdotes assassinos no caminho em direção a Shechem, cometendo crimes vergonhosos.
And as troops that lie in wait for a man, so is the band of priests, they murder on the way in unison; for they commit scandalous deeds.
10 Na casa de Israel eu vi uma coisa horrível. Há prostituição em Ephraim. Israel está contaminado.
On the house of Israel have I seen a horrible thing: there is lewdness in Ephraim, Israel is become defiled.
11 “Também, Judah, há uma colheita designada para você, quando restauro a fortuna do meu povo.
Also for thee, O Judah, will a harvest be prepared, when I bring back the captivity of my people.
