Oséias 3

1 Yahweh me disse: “Vá novamente, ame uma mulher amada por outra, e uma adúltera, assim como Yahweh ama as crianças de Israel, embora elas se voltem para outros deuses, e ame bolos de passas”.

And the LORD said unto me: 'Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend and an adulteress, even as the LORD loveth the children of Israel, though they turn unto other gods, and love cakes of raisins.

2 So Comprei-a para mim por quinze moedas de prata e um homer e meio de cevada.

So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver and a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley;

3 Eu disse a ela: “Você ficará comigo por muitos dias. Não farás de prostituta e não estarás com nenhum outro homem”. Eu também o serei para você”.

and I said unto her: 'Thou shalt sit solitary for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be any man's wife; nor will I be thine.'

4 Para os filhos de Israel viverão muitos dias sem rei, sem príncipe, sem sacrifício, sem pedra sagrada e sem éfode ou ídolos.

For the children of Israel shall sit solitary many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without pillar, and without ephod or teraphim;

5 Depois disso os filhos de Israel voltarão e buscarão a Javé seu Deus, e Davi seu rei, e virão com tremor para Javé e para suas bênçãos nos últimos dias.

afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall come trembling unto the LORD and to His goodness in the end of days.
