Gênesis 9
1 Deus abençoou Noé e seus filhos, e lhes disse: “Sejam fecundos, multipliquem-se e reabasteçam a terra”.
And God blessed Noah and his sonnes, and said to them, Bring foorth fruite, and multiplie, and replenish the earth.
2 O medo de vocês e o pavor de vocês estarão sobre cada animal da terra, e sobre cada ave do céu”. Tudo o que se move ao longo da terra, e todos os peixes do mar, são entregues em suas mãos.
Also the feare of you, and the dread of you shalbe vpon euery beast of the earth, and vpon euery foule of the heauen, vpon all that moueth on the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they deliuered.
3 Cada coisa que se move que vive será alimento para você. Como eu lhe dei a erva verde, eu lhe dei tudo a você.
Euery thing that moueth and liueth, shall be meate for you: as the greene herbe, haue I giuen you all things.
4 Mas a carne com sua vida, ou seja, seu sangue, você não comerá.
But flesh with the life thereof, I meane, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eate.
5 Certamente exigirei a prestação de contas pelo sangue de sua vida. Às mãos de cada animal, eu o requererei. Na mão do homem, mesmo na mão do irmão de cada homem, eu exigirei a vida do homem.
For surely I will require your blood, wherein your liues are: at the hand of euery beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, euen at the hand of a mans brother will I require the life of man.
6 Whoever derrama o sangue do homem, seu sangue será derramado pelo homem, pois Deus fez o homem à sua própria imagem.
Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.
7 Seja fecundo e multiplique. Aumenta abundantemente na terra, e multiplica-te nela”.
But bring ye forth fruite and multiplie: grow plentifully in the earth, and increase therein.
8 Deus falou a Noé e a seus filhos com ele, dizendo:
God spake also to Noah and to his sonnes with him, saying,
9 “Quanto a mim, eis que estabeleço minha aliança com você, e com seus descendentes depois de você,
Behold, I, euen I establish my couenant with you, and with your seede after you,
10 e com todo ser vivo que está com você: as aves, o gado e todo animal da terra com você, de todos os que saem do navio, até mesmo todo animal da terra.
And with euery liuing creature that is with you, with the foule, with the cattell, and with euery beast of the earth with you, from all that goe out of the Arke, vnto euery beast of the earth.
11 Eu estabelecerei meu convênio com vocês: Toda a carne não será mais cortada pelas águas do dilúvio. Nunca mais haverá uma inundação para destruir a terra”.
And my couenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by ye waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth any more.
12 Deus disse: “Este é o sinal do pacto que faço entre mim e vós e todo ser vivo que está convosco, por gerações perpétuas”:
Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.
13 Coloco meu arco-íris na nuvem, e será um sinal de um pacto entre mim e a Terra”.
I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.
14 Quando eu trouxer uma nuvem sobre a terra, que o arco-íris será visto na nuvem,
And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,
15 eu me lembrarei da minha aliança, que é entre mim e você e todo ser vivo de toda a carne, e as águas não se tornarão mais uma inundação para destruir toda a carne.
Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 O arco-íris será visto na nuvem. Vou olhar para ele, para que eu possa me lembrar da aliança eterna entre Deus e cada ser vivo de toda a carne que está sobre a terra”.
Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.
17 Deus disse a Noé: “Este é o símbolo do pacto que estabeleci entre mim e toda a carne que está sobre a terra”.
God said yet to Noah, This is the signe of the couenant, which I haue established betweene me and all flesh that is vpon the earth.
18 Os filhos de Noé que saíram do navio eram Shem, Ham e Japheth. Ham é o pai de Canaã.
Nowe the sonnes of Noah going foorth of the Arke, were Shem and Ham and Iapheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.
19 Estes três eram os filhos de Noé, e destes a terra inteira foi povoada.
These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.
20 Noé começou a ser agricultor e plantou um vinhedo.
Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.
21 Ele bebeu do vinho e ficou bêbado. Ele foi descoberto dentro de sua tenda.
And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, and was vncouered in the middes of his tent.
22 Ham, o pai de Canaan, viu a nudez de seu pai, e contou aos seus dois irmãos lá fora.
And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.
23 Shem e Japheth pegaram uma roupa e a colocaram sobre os dois ombros, entraram de costas e cobriram a nudez de seu pai. Seus rostos estavam ao contrário e não viram a nudez do pai.
Then tooke Shem and Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.
24 Noé acordou de seu vinho e sabia o que seu filho mais novo havia feito com ele.
Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,
25 Disse ele, “Canaã é amaldiçoada. Ele será um servo de servos para seus irmãos”.
And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.
26 Ele disse, “Bendito seja Yahweh, o Deus de Shem”. Que Canaan seja seu servo.
He said moreouer, blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
27 Que Deus amplie o Japheth. Deixe-o morar nas tendas de Shem. Que Canaan seja seu servo”.
God perswade Iapheth, that he may dwell in the tentes of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
28 Noé viveu trezentos e cinqüenta anos após a enchente.
And Noah liued after the flood three hundreth and fiftie yeeres.
29 Todos os dias de Noé foram novecentos e cinqüenta anos, e então ele morreu.
So all the dayes of Noah were nine hundreth and fiftie yeeres: and he died.
