Ezequiel 5
1 “Você, filho do homem, pegue uma espada afiada. Você deve tomá-la como uma navalha de barbeiro para si mesmo e fazê-la passar por cima de sua cabeça e por cima de sua barba. Em seguida, pegue balanças para pesar e dividir o cabelo.
Thou therefore son of man Take thee a sharp cutting instrument, a barber’s razor, shalt thou take thee, and shalt cause it to pass upon thy head and upon thy chin, —and shalt take the balances for weighing, and shalt divide the hair.
2 Uma terceira parte você queimará no fogo no meio da cidade, quando os dias do cerco forem cumpridos. Você pegará uma terceira parte, e golpeará com a espada em torno dela. Uma terceira parte você se espalhará ao vento, e eu desembainharei uma espada atrás deles.
A third part in the fire, shalt thou burn in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled, —and thou shalt take a third part, thou shalt smite it with the cuting instrument round about it, and a third part, shalt thou scatter to the wind, and, a sword, will I, make bare after them;
3 Você pegará um pequeno número destes e os amarrará nas dobras de seu manto.
and thou shalt take from thence, a few in number, —and shalt bind them in thy skirts;
4 Destes, novamente, você pegará e os lançará no meio do fogo, e os queimará no fogo. Dela sairá um fogo em toda a casa de Israel.
and of them, again take, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire, -therefrom, shall go forth a fire unto all the house of Israel.
5 “O Senhor Javé diz: “Esta é Jerusalém. Eu a coloquei no meio das nações, e os países estão ao redor dela”.
Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, This, is Jerusalem, In the midst of the nations, I placed her, — and of the countries round about her;
6 Ela se rebelou contra minhas ordenanças ao fazer mal mais do que as nações, e contra meus estatutos mais do que os países que estão ao seu redor; pois eles rejeitaram minhas ordenanças, e quanto aos meus estatutos, eles não entraram nelas”.
But she hath changed my regulations into lawlessness, more than the nations, And my statutes more than the countries which are round bout her, For my regulations, have they rejected, And in my statutes, have they not walked.
7 “Portanto, o Senhor Javé diz: 'Porque sois mais turbulento do que as nações que vos rodeiam, e não tendes andado nos meus estatutos, nem guardado as minhas ordenanças, nem seguido as ordenanças das nações que vos rodeiam;
Therefore, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh. Because ye have become more rebellious than the nations who are round about you, In my statutes, have not walked. And my regulations, have not done, And according to the regulations of the nations which are round about you, have not done:
8 portanto, o Senhor Javé diz: 'Eis que eu, eu mesmo, estou contra vós; e executarei juízos entre vós à vista das nações'.
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Lo! I am against thee, even I, Therefore will I, execute in thy midst, judgments, in the eyes of the nations;
9 Farei em vós aquilo que não fiz, e que já não farei nada parecido, por causa de todas as vossas abominações.
Yea I will execute upon thee that which I have not executed, And like unto which I will not execute again, - Because of all thine abominations.
10 Portanto, os pais comerão os filhos dentro de vocês, e os filhos comerão os pais deles. Executarei juízos sobre vocês; e espalharei todo o que resta de vocês a todos os ventos.
Therefore, fathers will eat sons in thy midst, And sons will eat fathers, — And I will execute upon thee judgments, And will scatter the whole remnant of thee, to every wind.
11 Portanto, enquanto eu viver”, diz o Senhor Javé, “certamente, porque contaminastes meu santuário com todas as vossas coisas detestáveis, e com todas as vossas abominações, portanto, também eu vos diminuirei”. Meu olho não me poupará e não terei piedade”.
Therefore as I live, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, — Surely because my sanctuary, thou hast defiled, with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations Even I also, will cut off, and mine eye, shall not spare, Yea even I will not pity.
12 Uma terceira parte de vocês morrerá com a peste, e eles serão consumidos pela fome dentro de vocês. Uma terceira parte cairá pela espada ao seu redor. Uma terceira parte espalharei a todos os ventos, e desembainharei uma espada atrás deles.
The third part of thee by pestilence, shall die, and by famine, be consumed in thy midst And the third part by the sword, shall fall round about thee, - And the third part to every wind, will I scatter, and a sword, will I make bare after them.
13 “'Assim, minha raiva será consumada, e farei descansar minha ira contra eles, e serei confortado. Eles saberão que eu, Yahweh, falei com meu zelo, quando eu tiver realizado minha ira sobre eles.
So shall mine anger have an end, And I will cause mine indignation, to find rest, upon them, and will console myself, - And they shall know that, I, Yahweh, have spoken in my jealousy, when mine indignation hath come to an end, upon them.
14 “'Além disso, farei de você uma desolação e uma reprovação entre as nações que estão ao seu redor, à vista de todos os que passam por você.
And I will deliver thee up to desolation and reproach, among the nations that are round about thee, —in the eyes of every passer-by.
15 Portanto, será uma reprovação e um escárnio, uma instrução e um espanto, para as nações que estão ao seu redor, quando eu executar juízos sobre você com raiva e com ira, e com repreensões iradas - eu, Iavé, o disse -
So shall it become a reproach and an insult a warning and an astonishment, to the nations that are round about thee, —in that I have executed upon thee judgments in anger and in indignation and in rebukes of indignation, I, Yahweh have spoken:
16 quando eu enviar sobre eles as flechas malignas da fome que são para destruição, que eu enviarei para destruí-lo. Aumentarei a fome em você e quebrarei seu bastão de pão.
In that I have sent the malignant arrows of famine among them which were for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, —and famine, will I increase upon you, and will break for you the staff of bread.
17 enviarei sobre vocês a fome e os animais malignos, e eles os despojarão. A peste e o sangue passarão por vocês. Eu trarei a espada sobre vocês. Eu, Yahweh, a falei”.
So will I send upon you famine and mischievous beast and they shall bereave thee, —and pestilence and blood, shall pass through thee, —and a sword, will I bring in upon thee, I Yahweh, have spoken.
