Ezequiel 35
1 Além disso, a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
Moveover the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
2 “Filho do homem, põe teu rosto contra o Monte Seir, e profetiza contra ele,
Sonne of man, Set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesie against it,
3 e diz: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que estou contra ti, Monte Seir, e estenderei minha mão contra ti. Farei de você uma desolação e um assombro”.
And say vnto it, Thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, O mount Seir, I come against thee, and I wil stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee desolate and waste.
4 Eu colocarei suas cidades em desolação e você ficará desolado. Então você saberá que eu sou Yahweh.
I wil lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt knowe that I am the Lord.
5 “““Porque tivestes uma perpétua hostilidade, e cedestes aos filhos de Israel o poder da espada no tempo de sua calamidade, no tempo da iniqüidade do fim,
Because thou hast had a perpetuall hatred and hast put the children of Israel to flight by the force of the sword in the time of their calamitie, when their iniquitie had an ende,
6 portanto, como eu vivo”, diz o Senhor Javé, “eu vos prepararei para o sangue, e o sangue vos perseguirá”. Como não odiastes o sangue, portanto, o sangue vos perseguirá.
Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil prepare thee vnto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: except thou hate blood, euen blood shall pursue thee.
7 Thus Vou fazer do Monte Seir um espanto e uma desolação. Eu cortarei dele aquele que passa e aquele que retorna.
Thus will I make mount Seir desolate and waste, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
8 I encherá suas montanhas com seus mortos. O morto com a espada cairá em suas colinas e em seus vales e em todos os seus cursos de água.
And I will fill his mountaines with his slayne men: in thine hilles, and in thy valleys and in all thy riuers shall they fall, that are slayne with the sworde.
9 farei de vocês uma desolação perpétua, e suas cidades não serão habitadas. Então vocês saberão que eu sou Yahweh.
I wil make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not returne, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.
10 ““Porque você disse: “Estas duas nações e estes dois países serão meus e nós os possuiremos”, embora Iavé estivesse lá,
Because thou hast said, These two nations, and these two countreys shalbe mine, and we wil possesse them (seeing the Lord was there)
11 portanto, como eu vivo”, diz o Senhor Iavé, “farei de acordo com sua raiva e de acordo com sua inveja que você demonstrou por seu ódio contra eles; e me farei conhecido entre eles quando o julgar.
Therefore as I liue, sayth the Lord God, I wil euen do according to thy wrath, and according to thine indignation which thou hast vsed in thine hatred against them: and I wil make my selfe knowen among them whe I haue iudged thee.
12 Você saberá que eu, Iavé, ouvi todos os seus insultos, que você falou contra as montanhas de Israel, dizendo: 'Elas foram assoladas. Eles nos foram dados para devorarmos”.
And thou shalt know, that I the Lord haue heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountaines of Israel, saying, They lye waste, they are giuen vs to be deuoured.
13 Vocês se engrandeceram contra mim com sua boca, e multiplicaram suas palavras contra mim. Eu o ouvi”.
Thus with your mouthes ye haue boasted against me, and haue multiplied your words against me: I haue heard them.
14 O Senhor Javé diz: “Quando toda a terra se alegrar, eu vos farei desolados”.
Thus sayth the Lord God, So shall all the world reioyce when I shall make thee desolate.
15 Ao regozijar-se com a herança da casa de Israel, porque estava desolada, assim farei a vocês. Você ficará desolado, Monte Seir, e todos os Edom, mesmo todos os Edom. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh”.
As thou diddest reioyce at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I doe vnto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea wholly, and they shall know, that I am the Lord.
